👄oral assessment - use torch and score
👄oral hygiene - toothbrush and toothpaste (x2/day)
👄oral moisturisation - oral gels (1/2/4 hrly)
👄oral decontamination for VAP/CAP - prescribed chlorhex as needed. Audit and repeat!🤩

We have the same concerns about decontamination! Some places are creating laminated lanyards but yes, they would need decontaminating.

I just dont know how we'd make it work in practice.... for staff wearing full gowns with aprons over top you tape it on your chest.... but how do we attach it to uniform when apron only without it being something extra to contaminate while doffing? 🤔🤔
