@JessicaKTwist Hi Jessica, I’d like to discuss a story with you re a Leeds primary school with high SEND provision being threatened with closure. My husband is the Head and we need support to fight the proposals. Given recent SEND reports, thought it might be of interest?

@MargaretMulhol2 Hello! My husband’s primary school (which has over 50% SEND and PP) is going through a second consultation (in 2 years) to close the school - enforced by Leeds City Council. Is there anything you can do/advise to help him fight this?

@branwenjeffreys @bphillipsonMP Also worth noting that the Authority carried out a closure consultation in 2022. They decided to keep the school open due to the ‘strong public feeling’ and promised that this wouldn’t happen again.

@easyJet on the 14:40 delayed flight from Paris Orly to Manchester. Stuck on the transport bus outside the plane for 30mins - cramped like sardines with no one telling us anything or getting any air. Borderline inhumane!!! Please sort this out!!

It’s good they’re looking to reduce the screening age for men with family history of #prostatecancer. This now needs to extend to other screening programmes too - both my mum and maternal grandma had #bowelcancer yet I’m not eligible for regular screening until I’m 50!

Yesterday our wonderful mum, nanna and Dad’s partner of over 50 years, Gillian Elizabeth Ridley, passed away having fought valiantly against cancer. She passed peacefully surrounded by us all and made us extremely proud of her till the very end. Love you Mum xx

What an incredibly tough week. After battling wide spread cancer like a warrior for 2.5 years, Mum’s fight is in the final round. Navigating end of life care is awful but I’m so thankful for friends like @AmyLochtie & @AdeleBunch who I couldn’t do this without 💕
