@cutiieepie6 The pixie cut suits you perfectly! It shows off your features and the ease you will get used to is so worth it. Don’t listen to the haters!

-I'm 51 years old and I've been wanting a short haircut; today I took the plunge, but the people close to me don't like my new look and are giving me a hard time. Your opinion means a lot to me. Thank you so much ❤😍

Resting so I have energy to go out. Getting ready to go out. Resting again to recover from getting ready, so I have energy to go out.

@DiaryofaSickGrl I have never considered it to be attention seeking to discuss our experiences with our chronic illnesses. If anything, we are educating, encouraging others and finding our tribe. Many of us have only the online community for support and should not feel guilty about it.

I decided to be open about my chronic illnesses online because it helps me and helps other people. I know some people judge it and think it’s taboo, negative, or attention seeking. I don’t care. We all get to decide what pieces of our life and ourselves we share and this is what I’ve chosen for me.

The hardest part isn’t pain — it’s having to explain it again and again and still not be believed. #ChronicPain

MS has an invisible side that surfaces in everyday moments — unexpected pauses, tough decisions, and quiet emotions. The burden of needing to slow down or rest can feel heavy. Needing rest isn’t a sign of weakness, and honoring your limits doesn’t disappoint anyone.

Shout-out to disabled people who aren't inspirational, who are unemployed or stuck with a job they don't like, who didn't do well academically and/or had to drop out of school, who aren't in a position to live and take care of themselves independently even if they would like to, who just get on with things without complaining, whose lives didn't work out in the way they were hoping for, who haven't overcome their disability the way society tells us we're supposed to. You exist, you're worthwhile and you matter.

@shiftms The assumption that because what I feel isn’t visible that I am okay. Every day is an uphill struggle from waking to attempting sleep. If I looked like I felt I would be locked in a tower so as not to disturb others.

@MeganFoxWriter Cruel is too simple a word for what those of us who suffer true pain are forced to endure because of the people who take meds for recreational purposes.

@DiaryofaSickGrl I have times when I know I should go to the hospital but because I don’t enjoy being treated like an idiot or a drug seeking subhuman I choose to stay at home and ride it out. When medical professionals shift their behavior, I will shift mine.

I won’t go the hospital unless I’m literally on my deathbed because it’s expensive, takes a long time, the way they treat you usually isn’t great, and my extensive allergies and low immune system put me in danger of allergic reactions, viruses, etc.

I’ll never forget my dad getting a phone call back when I was in middle school from a friend asking him to go golfing. He said “thanks, I have plans with the family this weekend.” He hung up and I was like “We don’t have plans. Why did you lie?” And my dad says “that group of men don’t speak nicely about their wives. I don’t need to be around it.” Love that man 💕💖

@sdsugar @KTLA Yes! The Karens and Darrens are responsible for stirring up shit over every little thing. They take a simple thing and don’t stop until it’s a monstrous thing. It’s a behavior pattern that should be eliminated not encouraged.

@KTLA WOW! What happened to you people? Such hate over a car accident with her children. WHY does everything have to be a conflict? Grow up! The Karens need to leave the country🇺🇸
