A heroic serving police dog with Leicestershire Police sadly died on duty yesterday, in pursuit of a suspect wanted on suspicion of attempted murder. After both the suspect and police dog entered the water, the police dog became unresponsive and was taken to the vets, where it sadly died. The suspect has been arrested for #FinnsLaw, for causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal. Our deepest thoughts are with the police dog's handler and family at this extremely difficult time. Thank you for your loyal service, you will not be forgotten. 🌈💙🐶🇬🇧

@Chopper_Mallett @AliceTalksFooty You should read the history, the women's team started in 1977 and it stemmed from the supporters club. It didn't become part of "Manchester United" until 2001, it was then disbanded by the glazers in 2005 and then re-established in 2018.
English

@AliceTalksFooty Why can’t women create there own clubs, Man United was a men’s football club end of, jumping on bandwagons to get an instant fan base instead of putting hard work in to create your own clubs.
English

Man Utd’s treatment towards their women's team is horrific:
They have been waiting for good facilities for years, only to be kicked out of them and moved into portable buildings so the men can now use them. The awards ceremony was cancelled for everyone after the women won the FA Cup due to the men's team underperforming. The women were not informed of this and found out on social media that it had been cancelled, despite many players changing holiday plans so they could attend.
Ratcliffe (new co-owner) pretty much admitted he is ignoring women's team matters:
Jim Ratcliffe was asked about his plans for #mufc's women's team in an interview with Bloomberg. He said, "We haven't got into that level of detail with the women's team yet. We've been pretty much focused on how we resolve the first team issues."
Not to mention Earps leaving on a free transfer, as well as potentially our top scorer and other key players this season. You can’t blame half the squad for wanting to get out.
The facilities, training ground, and treatment of the team are levels below Arsenal and Chelsea WFC.
All this in the last month, not a good look for INEOS. I am aware the majority of money comes through the men's side and it will always be the main focus, but the pure neglect towards the women's side and their achievements this season is pretty worrying.

@SarahSproston4 I genuinely can't wrap my head around anyone wanting to come to united at the moment..
English

@soccerdonna @amandaezaza She needs to go, united has become an absolute shit show for any serious player.. ineos may actually be the worst thing to happen to the women's team.
English

According to @amandaezaza , Katie Zelem might leave Manchester United. 🤯 The Captain is reportedly looking at other clubs, as United has yet to trigger her option.

@OFFICIALWMAS big big thanks to Mal and Stuart who treated my Nan yesterday and sat for hours and hours at Russell's hall with us - that 7 hours flew by! 🤣 Such wonderful humans, I can see why they are both mentors, the students are in great hands! #NHSheroes

@MaybeMartLowe @KathrynBatte I think you'll find the women's team generated £7million in revenue in the 22/23 season making it the second highest in Europe for that season. For a team that's been going for 5 years that's not to be sniffed at
English

@KathrynBatte The women’s team unfortunately makes him zero pounds.. simple as that

@SarahGP2310 Hi Sarah. Small animals with less lung capacity are more sensitive to high levels of carbon monoxide than larger animals or humans.

We currently have 4 fire engines from @WMFSWoodgate @WMFSNorthfield @WMFSHadenCross @WMFSOldbury in attendance at a house fire in Allwood Gardens Bartley Green

@UB1UB2 This has knocked me sick, what on earth possessed the driver to do this? @metpoliceuk these officers have a lot to answer for!
English

@SirAlfredWaz Because in years previous (not so much fire service but certainly police) certain groups were treated less favourably, such as ethnic minorities, LGBT persons, women. All felt unsafe around public services. So no it's not a given for all people to feel safe due to a uniform.

@SJWatkins7 @TheSecretFF999 The rainbow isn't a reflection of only "pride" it's a reflection that all are included and loved. Our Neurodiversity networking group also uses rainbow colours in an infinity symbol because it's inclusive 🙂
English

@SarahGP2310 @TheSecretFF999 Agree with the hating point, there is no place for that anywhere.
But when you use a uniform of a public funded org, to express your views you are going to create divide. That’s a fact. So when it happens you shouldn’t be shocked and complain. People won’t have the same view.
