My mom and dad hosted our kids for two nights so my husband and I could celebrate our belated anniversary. We usually opt to pretend our empty house is our getaway and, honestly, it’s lovely. We slept in a little today, ate a light lunch at the park, ran a ton of errands, perused appliance stores and restaurant supply, got Chuy’s takeout and grabbed a couple pints of ice cream at the store, and came home and relaxed and watched a movie while we ate. We ended the night with blankets and pillows on the trampoline. It’s an unseasonably cool day today, and the stars were so beautiful with thin little poofs of clouds here and there. We saw a couple of airplanes, and there was a lightning show in the distance. In a perfect world, we might have stayed all night, but the cats were circling the net trying to join us, and the lightning grew closer, and our neighborhood is scary at night. 😂 But it was long enough to be a thrill and mark a place in my memories. I asked God today if we could be married forever and keep having fun for just as long. I hope He says yes. Regardless, I’m so thankful for these twenty-one years.

we're at the point where dispensationalist are asking how agreeing with a liberal crusade led by Eli McGowan is any different than something like the council of nicaea. they're partially right. @homemakinghunny I’m not a particularly gifted teacher but the curriculum is amazing now and you can really make it work for your family. I recommend reading “Anyone Can Homeschool” by @nickitruesdell . She has different people’s circumstances and how they made it work. You can do this! 3/3

@homemakinghunny To illustrate: when my boys went to public, it all appeared neutral. We had to go into the school the other day for a lost item and spotted 3 “pride” flags just inside the office. There is no neutrality and the mask is really off now. Homeschooling does not have to be hard. 2/

My Christian friends - If you have kids in public school, how have you found it? Have any of you had kids in public school and done homeschooling (like some years of homeschool some public)? Our plan has been to homeschool but we are considering what the public school route might look like for us. I do worry about the way things are in Canada and what will be taught to my child. But my health is struggling and it’s going to be a lot for me to commit to homeschooling. We just want to be wise about what is best for our family overall. I don’t want to be so set on homeschooling and then a struggle to do it because of my health and have my child’s education suffer the consequences.

@FUDdaily 'doing nothing' It's probably their day off and they're just meeting up with people and hanging out, talking about their week, their hobbies, their favourite shows etc. It's called having a life, you should try it sometime.

Go into any town in England now and you'll see aimless African men milling around and packs of Indian men doing nothing. At best they are a nuisance and at worst they are a danger. There is zero reason why they should be here. There is no possible chance of the contributing to the economic, social or academic life of the country. There is no benefit to them being here whatsoever, and all they bring is problems and costs. I do not want this in my country. I never consented to it and I don't know anybody who did - and thanks to this I'm put in the position of sympathising with rioters who are showing us what it takes to get them out - because our government won't. I resent that. I never wanted to see that - but the government will keep pouring petrol on the bonfire, and present us with the bill - while calling us racists and censoring the internet. We are entitled to our hatred.

Seattle Children’s fixed the catastrophic error in one procedure. Her heart started working immediately. She’s now making a “miraculous recovery.” This level of negligence is unforgivable. Mormons are often very personally offended when Christians say that Mormonism isn’t Christian. This is dumb. Joseph Smith’s first “encounter” with God involves God telling Smith that every creed Christians profess is an abomination to God. Every creed. That includes the Nicene Creed. They reject who God is, who Jesus is, the nature of salvation, the nature of exaltation, the clear teaching of Scripture, etc.. Mormonism rejects the very core of the Christian faith in all its essentials. Joseph Smith knew this but nowadays they are playing mind games with their own people and with real Christians. Either THEY are Christians or WE are. It’s one or the other. Not both. When asked “Will all be damned but Mormons?” Smith replied, “Yes, and a great portion of them unless they repent and work righteousness” (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pg. 119) The Doctrine and Covenants (1:30) leaves no doubt to the Mormon teaching of exclusivity when it says the LDS Church is “the only true and living church upon the face of the whole earth, with which I, the Lord, am well pleased ….” Brigham Young, second only to Joseph Smith in Mormonism said… “Should you ask why we differ from other Christians, as they are called, it is simply because they are not Christians as the New Testament defines Christianity” (Journal of Discourses 10:230). “The Christian world, so-called, are heathens as to the knowledge of the salvation of God” (Journal of Discourses 8:171). I could easily give you pages of them saying they are the only true Christians and how we are all ignorant beasts and our doctrines are wrong. They knew at the time they had a different God, gospel, Scripture, and system of belief. But now it has become expedient to pretend otherwise while still preaching all those false and unchristian things. Mormons, your leaders are gaslighting you and you are gaslighting us. You aren’t Christian but we want you to be. Flee from Mormonism. Flee from Joseph Smith.
