New realization - maternity leave is a great time to do some 🐇 🕳 deep dives into new topics. How? 8x🤱🏻sessions/day when I’m just tied to a chair with my 📱 and AirPods.

@AmandaMGoetz Currently on parental leave with my 2 week daughter and find myself thinking of the parents without any paid leave. I shouldn’t feel lucky to have this time - it should be available to everyone. We have a lot of work to do!

PAID LEAVE IS NOT A VACATION. It took 8 weeks to get cleared by my doctor because of my hard delivery. Know what else I had to do at 8 weeks? Return to work or stop getting paid. We have to do better. #PaidLeaveForAll

New favorite construction term. 🙃 They tore our patio and then sent out an email saying they are conducting “exploratory demolition”. No clue if it was unsafe, if it they discovered anything during this demolition, if there’s more work to do… but loving the language! 🤣
