@Amalgamquietude @Parody_RCGP It tastes great but boy child has started calling it an offensive weapon! The wholemeal and spelt/ wholemeal loaves of last weekend were rather dense! Tasted great with soup though. And they weren't white fluffy plastic bread from the supermarket, which is the aim.

OK then is #BakingTwitter or #BreadTwitter a thing? What am I doing wrong? All my bread collapses at the end of the second prove. Tried going back to strong white (this is 50% strong white 50% spelt) and still doing it! I'm using a machine but aim was to be time minimal.

As a GP I have spent years helping people with stress related illness, currently I am severely concerned about a high number of my colleagues. Demanding too much, from too few will result in less, who will collapse under the demand. #TeamGp @BMA_GP @rcgp @sajidjavid #GPCrisis

GPs today doing their utmost to help their patients see that ‘hit squads’ will be coming to visit those who are ‘failing’. The failing here is landing at the Westminster govt doorstep. No question about it

The abuse and attacks on GPs and practice staff must stop. Now. This can never be acceptable. Zero tolerance must mean just that, and the strongest action taken. The solutions to these challenges are unique. Antidepressant will not fix a toxic workplace. Lack of PPE will not fix compassion fatigue. Cutting workload down will not completely fix depression. Target the right solutions to the right challenge. We’re all humans. 11/

The solutions? Stress: manage the amount and consider breaks. Exhaustion: rest, sleep, nutrition, exercise. Burnout: occupational cultural change. Moral distress: ethics of resources. Compassion fatigue: rest, social support. Mental illness: mental health professional. 10/
