@DominicCardy @FrancesBeaudin @1GNMES @Gov_NB @premierbhiggs While wearing a mask all day, many of my gr.1 students chew or suck on them which results in them being soggy, even if they change their masks 5 times a day. I'm wondering about the health risks from that or effectiveness of a soaking wet mask.

Not sure how much longer my Ks can handle wearing masks all day long. Personally, I think the expectations we are putting on these children far exceed what we expect from adults. Doing for a few weeks is one thing, but they can’t keep this up.@Gov_NB @DominicCardy @premierbhiggs

@DominicCardy @FrancesBeaudin @Gov_NB @premierbhiggs Let them take off their masks while in their classroom. If that’s too unsafe - they should not be attending school every day. They cannot sustain these orange phase expectations any longer.

Cafe Francais! Our cafe was scheduled for Friday, but due to the unpredictable NB weather, we moved it to today! I think the students felt pretty special and enjoyed the food & atmosphere! @ASDWLimelight @ASD_West

FRENCH IMMERSION students reach varying levels of French language proficiency, & each one gains proficiency, at his/her own rate. And that's okay! Our job as #FSL educators is to take them from where they are to where they need to go next.

If students aren’t getting enough physical education, movement, & recess, don’t blame them when they get restless, fidgety, & can’t focus in class. That’s like blaming them for simply being a kid. Children are active by nature & need to move. Exercise enhances brain performance.
