Strengthening survivor-centered responses remains critical in addressing Sexual and Gender-Based Violence across Lagos State. The stakeholders’ review meeting on the Unified Response Protocol and Referral Pathway created an important platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and collective problem-solving among key actors within the response system. The engagement reinforced the need for coordinated action, improved access to support services, stronger protection for vulnerable groups, and accountability across sectors. #LagosDSVA #SGBVItConcernsUsAll #SGBVNotInMyLagos #AGreaterLagosRising #LASG @followlasg

The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency engaged members of the Community Development Committee (CDC) in Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, focused on strengthening community response to Domestic and Sexual Violence. Over 50 participants attended the session, reflecting strong community interest and engagement. The CDC Chairman, Chief Adekoya, warmly welcomed the team, appreciating the initiative and encouraging members to share the knowledge within their communities. The session was led by Mr. Ajape Adeyanju, who spoke on Domestic and Sexual Violence, how to identify warning signs, and the appropriate reporting channels. He emphasized the role of community leaders in supporting survivors and working with relevant authorities. The engagement was interactive, with participants asking questions on confidential reporting, handling cases involving family members, and available support services. Participants were also given the DSVA toll-free line, 0-8000-333-333, and encouraged to share it widely. The programme ended with active participation and a renewed commitment from CDC members to support efforts in preventing domestic and sexual violence in Ikosi Isheri, Lagos State. #LagosDSVA #CommunityEngagement #SGBVItConcernsUsAll #AGreaterLagosRising #LASG @followlasg

1,356+ farmers killed in 5 years. This isn’t just a statistic; it’s a crisis. No safety = No food security. We’re partnering with HAVEN Lantern to light up rural farms in Ondo State and protect our agricultural vanguards. Donate here: bit.ly/DonateLanterns… #KeepHerSafe

From Gulu to Nebbi to Kasese… something powerful is growing. We successfully conducted #GreenSkills Trainings in the three locations, and what they’ve created is just beginning. These products you see are;- - Skills turned into opportunity - Ideas turned into income - Young people—especially young women—stepping into their power Across these communities, participants are not just learning about climate action. They are living it. Building with it. Earning from it. And that’s the shift. Because when young people are equipped with the right skills, they don’t wait for change… they create it. #GreenSkills #YouthEmpowerment #ClimateAction #WomenLead #G4CAat10 @UNDPUganda @EUinUG @femearth5 @CCD_UG @FundHumanRights @wearetmrwgp @NebbiDistrict @DistrictNebbi
