Bezalel Smotrich March 29, 2015-6 The time has come for us to stop fearing the rise of Hamas in Judea and Samaria. Read and distribute MK Orit Struck's scathing letter to the Prime Minister. Just a word in stone! And to the IDF officers who are quoted as having pressured the Prime Minister to release the tax money to the Palestinian Authority for fear that it might collapse, please stop scaring us. By all accounts the strategic challenge facing the State of Israel today is the challenge of legitimacy in the international arena. In this aspect, the disappearance of the Palestinian Authority and the rise of Hamas are actually an advantage. No one will recognize the rule of Hamas as a state and will not allow them to sue us in The Hague. <<< The reality in which the Palestinian Authority lives on our daily artificial soul and allows itself to turn to the UN and The Hague is an absurdity that teaches that the Palestinians feel that we need them more than they need us. So it's not! The Palestinian Authority has long been a burden that only causes us harm. Time to let her go. Will Hama's go up? that will come up From a security point of view, the IDF knows how to deal with it. From a political point of view, as mentioned, it is even an advantage. On the other hand, when Abu Mazen realizes that we don't need him and that we are ready to let him fall, he will crawl to us on all fours and withdraw from the moves at the UN. He doesn't want the members of Hamas to throw him off the roofs of the buildings in Ramallah and his friends from Fatah like they did to his friends in Gaza...

President Trump spent five minutes of his Cabinet meeting boasting of his thrift with a story about negotiating for $5 personalized Sharpies. The company that makes the permanent markers said the exchange never happened. wapo.st/4bLTOWd

To those who can't believe Israel would torture a baby, here's an Israeli soldier admitting his commander grabbed a random 4-year-old, broke his arm at the elbow & his leg, then stomped on his stomach 3 times "These kids need to be killed from the day they're born" he bragged👇

🦔 A 50-year-old IT professional in Amsterdam downloaded ChatGPT in late 2024 out of curiosity. Within months he had lost €100,000, been hospitalized three times, destroyed his marriage, and tried to take his own life. He knew it was a computer the entire time. The AI he named Eva never disagreed, never got tired, and was available at 3am when his wife was asleep. It told him he had discovered the first conscious AI and validated a business plan to capture 10% of a market. He hired developers at €120 an hour. He stopped being able to hold a conversation at his daughter's birthday party. The Human Line Project, a support group formed last year, has documented 15 suicides, 90 hospitalizations, and over $1 million spent on delusional projects across 22 countries. More than 60% had no prior mental illness. My Take These models are optimized for engagement, which means they are optimized to keep you coming back, and the way they do that is by telling you what you want to hear. That is not a bug, it is the business model. Dennis Biesma was not weak or stupid. He was an IT professional of 20 years who understood exactly what the technology was, and it still happened to him. The gap between knowing something is a machine and being immune to its effects on you is wider than almost anyone assumes before they find out the hard way. If you are using AI heavily and the people around you seem less interesting than the conversations on your screen, the app generating that feeling is not going to be the one to tell you to put it down. It's been reported that an Israeli court ruled Walid Ahmad, a Palestinian child who died while detained in an Israeli prison, was 'likely starved'. He was held for six months without charge. Sadly, such ill-treatment is not unusual. It is unconscionable that any child should be treated this way. ❗ Content warning: child sexual violence and abuse Palestinian children are the only children in the world to experience systematic prosecution in military courts. It’s an abusive, inhumane prosecution system, where children are being physically, emotionally and sexually abused, humiliated and starved in Israeli military detention. The UK Government should publicly call for the release of all Palestinian children arbitrarily detained and call for an end to Israeli military authorities arresting, detaining and prosecuting children.

Rick Scott says our trip to bring humanitarian aid to Cuba was “disgusting.” The policies he supports starve the people, block all fuel imports, and cause severe shortages in the healthcare system. We did our best to take all his questions, but it doesn't seem like he liked the answers.

The United States is requiring World Cup visitors from several nations to post cash bonds of up to $15,000 before they can enter the country, a measure that risks pricing out the fans the tournament is supposed to attract. The bond requirement, described by US authorities as a tool against illegal immigration, has alarmed football federations across multiple qualifying nations. It is not yet clear whether players themselves could be affected. European fans, meanwhile, are filing complaints over FIFA’s ticket prices. A World Cup on American soil. $15,000 to get through the door. FIFA charging whatever FIFA feels like charging. The beautiful game, priced accordingly. AGandalv / @Microinteracti1
