Please can you explain “limit contact with other people”. Does this mean we can have contact with other people as long as we keep it limited? What is the limit? Which other people? Because all of a sudden there is no mention of keeping contact within households.

UK finance announcing contactless card spending limit to rise to £45 from 1 April, to reduce contact due to #COVIDー19, though individual retailers may take longer to process.
Of course contactless limits often don't apply for payments via mobiles.
