Like I said, you replace Enzo with 2 players, but i even would say 3
1. A sitting DM with legs and technical ability to conduct build up. One that can allow Caicedo to roam and do his thing even higher up the pitch. One with leadership qualities too, so might not be young young. If he can't sit as a lone. He should in a pivot.
2. Another left sided attacking creative midfielder that can add goals and assists and create chances, operate between the lines, probably carry too.

3. Incase you cant get no 2. Get A goal scoring winger that runs in behind ad a 1v1 threat.

The one thing I've said about this for people who might not have seen it. We all know how unbalanced our midfield is. Caicedo, Enzo and Palmer cannot play together in the Premier league without some form of compromise. If you want to play high pressing and counter pressing style of football, the balance is not there off the ball. The midfield was poorly built from the onset. Only way it has been able to work is if Palmer plays RW and Enzo plays 10 and hes not a natural 10 with Caicedo-Reece at pivot. If you now have Joao up top and neto on the left. That is arguably our best XI if they are fit. (In a back 4) Now what that XI lacks is a forward or at least 2 with enough movement in the front line, A proper in between the lines player and a ball carrier, you can argue a proper DM too. I've been thinking to myself, even yesterday night that, with this midfield imbalance our SDs have brought upon us how can we move forward? What was the original plan for the midfield set up. Pivot? Midfield 3? of smaller sized technicians? It would then mean your Fullbacks and CBs would be more athletic to cover or one midfielder to balance it out. Something has to give. Someone might need to be sacrificed for balance. Enzo is not the cause for imbalance. Because its the squad with each other not one player. They didn't try to build around either Palmer, Enzo or Caicedo to get the most complimentary profiles rhay balance them out and here we are 3 seasons later and the imbalance is still there. Great individual players, but not a balanced midfield 3. If Enzo does go. It gives them a chance to correct it. I'll explain in another tweet.

Big issue with this England squad is the passing quality. Palmer (final third),Wharton (middle third),Colwill (defensive third),Trent (defensive & final third),Hall (crosser) are top passers in their own way. You can’t just have carriers. You need top passers to win tournaments.
