@ThoughtfulSaint Horrible take. I lost my husband to Iraq. Most I grew up with my age and younger are despondent being displaced by migration whether it be rich city retirees or economic migrants. And yes I'm LDS and typically enjoy your videos but I think you're out of touch on this one.

You literally live in the best most prosperous time in human history. Your grandfather was drafted and sent to the jungles of Nam. Your ancestors watches their kids die of smallpox while crossing the plains. Your distant ancestors worked 6 days a week in a field to keep from starving in winter. Your biggest problem is social media addiction and obesity. Your ancestors RN: 🤦‍♂️ 🤦 🤦‍♀️

@Ian338Au @VeritasAnchor @sola_chad Good thing the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is setting records in bringing people to Jesus then. The pride it takes to belligerently attack the most scripturally Christ like communities on earth is certainly the pride Satan loves in you.

@jameis1of1 @RestoredTruth8 You're getting closer. See it's completely fair to argue we don't understand Christ or were misled if you can show where without just name-calling. To claim I worship love and devote my life to an entirely different sinless, eternal Christ is where you lose before it's begun.

The sinless, eternal Christ founded one Church. The sinful, perverted false prophet prophet Joseph Smith founded a modern heretical cult. My heart breaks for you, but you're not rare, you're just a typical brainwashed cultist that values subjective feelings, emotions and experiences, over objective truth ... like every other cultist.

@Elbeauxni @ThoughtfulSaint Wait until you hear the one about a burning bush! Can't you see your obsession with us is destroying the foundations of your faith? Or maybe it's fear that the still quiet voice telling you to look at us might be the Holy Ghost trying to show you something very very important?

@jameis1of1 @RestoredTruth8 So you're saying your cult is better or worse? We only believe in one Jesus while you guys talk about multiple Jesus' all the time. Tempting but I still think ours is better.

LDS is not a Christian faith whatsoever. It is a modern heretical cult that uses Christian terminology (while meaning entirely different things by said terminology) to deceive people into believing it's legitimately Christian. The "LDS Jesus" is a mere created being, was created by heavenly father and "heavenly mother 👹," is the "spirit brother of Lucifer👿" and was a mere man who became a god, all of which is heresy and has no connection whatsoever to the Jesus of historic apostolic Orthodox Christianity, who who is eternal and part of the Triune Godhead. I have love for Mormons, have ministered to many & led multiple Mormon missionaries to recognize it's a cult, etc. I know full well that many Mormon individuals are sincere, caring, kind people, who sincerely believe they're doing God's will, so in no way do I hate them, or wish ill on them. I love them all and pray that God's will is done in their lives, but I also don't believe it's loving to just wink at heresy or go along with the delusions of others. I believe love requires us to tell others the truth.

Hebrew proves otherwise. In Gen 1:1 the verb בָּרָא (bārāʾ) means to bring into existence, never to organize. It’s used only of God and never with materials stated (“from” something). When Scripture wants “form” or “shape,” it uses יָצַר (yāṣar) or עָשָׂה (ʿāśâ). “In the beginning God bārāʾ the heavens and the earth” (Gen 1:1) describes the absolute beginning of all things—a merism meaning everything that exists. Psalm 33:6, 9; Isaiah 44:24; John 1:3; and Hebrews 11:3 confirm: “What is seen was not made out of visible things.” So no—God didn’t “organize matter.” He created all things from nothing. The “bara = organize” claim is bad Hebrew and worse theology.

Concering ex nihilo: The word “create” in Genisis is translated from the Hebrew bara, a word that means “organize” rather than creation out of nothing (ex nihilo). In the Second Book of Enoch, it reads, "Enoch went to the Lord who taught him all about the Creation and his works … He saw matter unorganized before the Creation." Abraham wrote in his account of the creation, "And then the Lord said: Let us go down. And they went down at the beginning, and they, that is the Gods, organized and formed the heavens and the earth." It too science many mileneum to catch up with these sacred teachings and discover that matter cannot be created or destroyed, only organized.

I've debated this for a long while, but I am worried that my timeline would get corrupted by byu vs uofu rivalry and sports. So if you are LDS and don't post about sports or the two universities, follow me and comment so I know you aren't a bot and I will follow back.

Sometimes I need a hard reminder who's in charge of not only this church but all creation. It's too easy to let the decisions of flawed humans create roadblocks to my faith. When I turn off my screens and the voices of others, step outside and look for my creator everything becomes clear. Never let the world's choices stop you from thinking celestial and losing sight of the peace you deserve. Love you 💕

Reading the Book of Mormon will increase your faith in the Bible. We read the Bible so much BECAUSE we read the Book of Mormon. It’s not just correlation. It’s actual causation.

My mom's side was Catholic and my dad's LDS. Catholicism is a beautiful path and I actually still stay updated pretty closely. My heart mind and near death experience just told me that we were rushed onto the wrong path at Nicene and the restoration has given us another chance. You're a smart guy, you should look into Origen, Justin Martyr and a few of the first century Church father's. I think masonry may have been influenced by the same people we were but we weren't influenced by masonry. I point this out because if you want progress in conversations with us you should start with an understanding of the idea you wish to challenge. Love in Christ is the first priority in the end. We're not your enemy.

Curious how you're so sure you know God's will better than he does? Considering your beliefs didn't exist until three centuries after Christ defeated death and there was supposedly no more profits with the authority to verify new interpretations? Maybe it's just me but I think anyone who is devoting themselves to knowing Christ and loving their neighbors is the wrong person to be spreading hate on if your goal is to come closer to Christ yourself. But what do I know, I'm just a girl.

As a former member of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints," I can confidently say that the faith, practices, and majority of the teachings of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" are not Christian. You can slap the name of Christ on every single brick, board, and nail of your church buildings, but that does not a Christian religion make. Whether a religion is truly Christian depends not on the name above the doors to their building but on whether what they teach *inside* the building conforms to the Bible and the historic Christian faith which was "once for all delivered to the saints" (Jude 1:3) and needed no "Restoration." The aberrant teachings of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" includes the most important teachings of the Christian faith such as: 1. Who God is 2. Who Christ is in relation to the Father 3. What the relationship of man is to God 4. What the condition of man is after the fall 5. What the Gospel is and how we receive its benefits I won't go around saying every member of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" is not a Christian because I don't know. But I can confidently say that if one believes and trusts in the teachings of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints," his or her eternal welfare and spiritual life is in grave danger. The teachings of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" lead away from the biblical Gospel and Christ, and one must repent of them and trust in Christ, the eternal and unchanging Son of God who is Himself God (and thus co-equal and consubstantial with the Father), if they are to have any hope of being saved from the wrath of God for their sins.
Laura Hudson 🇨🇦@latterdaylaura

It's always "Mormon aren't Christian" not "Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints aren't christian" They'll say it is because the name is too long, but it is really because once they say Jesus Christ, they know finishing the statement would sound silly
