Candace Owens can only pronounce “bureau” correctly when doing pre-recorded ad reads.

@HerbsandDirt @conservmillen Right. I'm the one who needs to do some soul work when people are out there destroying a widow who has done nothing to deserve it.

@SassyCon80 @conservmillen If you think that was an acceptable display of grief for someone who’s died, you might want to do some soul work.

If your conscience isn’t pricked by the mockery of a widow - and you find yourself enjoying it, laughing, reveling in it - you are in the darkest possible place spiritually. You’ve been given over.

@SassyCon80 @robsmithonline Jackie Kennedy wasn’t all over TV after her husband got his head blown out in front of her. If she had taken time away like any normal widow none of this would be happening. It’s her own fault. It also makes her look like she didn’t love him cause she didn’t mourn privately

Conservatives’ response to Druski’s Erika Kirk skit was JOYLESS and CRINGE. Instead of diffusing the situation with HUMOR, the response was anger. Yesterday’s meltdown was precisely why none of this is cultural or cool anymore. YOU are the nerds now.

@HerbsandDirt @conservmillen The West is so averse to facing death, evidenced by the fact that you think displaying grief is disturbing. What they did to her husband was disturbing. That needed to be seen, because people can't unsee what they saw that day and what they did to his family deserves to be seen.

I don’t think so lady: I for one have never “laughed” at her. Not once. But my God given discernment meter went crazy the day she bent over her husband’s casket for a disturbing display of “grief” for the masses. A moment we should have NEVER seen. And the fact YOU can’t see that there is something VERY wrong here, then pray to God for better discernment. We’re good. Because once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

Candace Owens gleefully promotes a skit that viciously mocks Erika Kirk and her faith. No grieving widow deserves to be treated like this. Megyn Kelly and Michael Knowles refuse to condemn this

@MattWalshBlog Just like any liberal policies, it's about the attempt to make it morally acceptable. We all know that people will try to talk someone off a ledge, but if we change the way people think about suicide, then society won't look down upon those who go through with it.

All of the arguments for euthanasia fail. Even if I agreed that people have some kind of moral right to kill themselves (which I don’t), euthanasia wouldn’t be needed to exercise that “right.” You can already kill yourself. The idea that people need some kind of state sponsored system just to commit suicide is totally incoherent, even on its own terms. And those term are totally deranged because in truth, again, there is no moral right to suicide. But that’s almost a separate question, or at least a question further downstream. When it comes to euthanasia, the first and most immediate question is not whether people have the right to kill themselves, but whether the STATE and the MEDICAL INDUSTRY have the right to kill people. Should doctors be in the business of deliberately killing human beings? Should we have a bureaucracy for suicide? These are the real questions. And even if you (wrongly) think that humans have a moral right to murder themselves, you should still be able to see why doctors and bureaucrats ought to have no role in it.

Glad Ryan Gosling has a hit with Project Hail Mary as he has been in a lot of really good movies that just did not take off — The Nice Guys, The Fall Guy, Blade Runner 2049.

@lana_asanin SHE IS TRYING TO CARRY ON HIS LEGACY. I don't know why that's so hard for people. It gives her purpose and a distraction. To make sense of his senseless death. Leave her alone.

Took the wife and kids to see Project Hail Mary. We all really enjoyed it. Its greatest achievement is that it’s an actual family movie. Not too babyish for adults and not too grown up for the kids. Reminds me of the PG movies they used to make all the time in the 80s and 90s. Very much a spiritual descendent of ET. Maybe Hollywood will take the hint and start making real family films again. It also kind of reminded me of Ad Astra, which is a massively underrated masterpiece. A slower film, more adult oriented and contemplative. That and Arrival are the best space/alien movies of the past 15 years. Project Hail Mary is probably in the top 5. I’d rank it higher than Interstellar.

Side note: it’s not Ryan Gosling’s best movie. That distinction belongs to either Place Beyond The Pines (another underrated masterpiece) or First Man (also an underrated masterpiece). But his best performance in a film is still probably Blue Valentine, though I won’t recommend the film unless you enjoy movies that are relentlessly bleak and depressing and make you feel bad.

JUST IN: 'Bachelorette' star shares statement following the release of a video by TMZ, apparently showing her throwing metal bar stools at her ex-boyfriend. A spokesperson for Taylor Frankie Paul says the video "omits context," calling its release "desperate." "It’s sad to see the latest installment of his never-ending, desperate, attention-seeking, destructive campaign to harm Taylor without any regard for the consequences for their child," a spokesperson said to Variety. "Releasing an old video, which conveniently omits context, on their son’s birthday is a reprehensible attempt to distract from his own behavior." "Thankfully, the public has seen this act before and knows who he is, and sadly, many will recognize this pattern of manipulation, both in his actions on the show and from their own experiences."

@BasedSamParker Erika was a beauty queen. Way out of his league. And she was more mature than a 22-year-old. It doesn't take a genius to figure out why he chose her. He was busy in his 20s and focused on building TPUSA. He probably met girls he was interested in, but they weren't "the one."

One thing (of many) that has bothered me about the Charlie Kirk narrative was his lack of "success" with women. Stay with me here. Charlie Kirk was a 6'5" athlete, with a good intellect & normie-tier politics. Maybe not the best looking guy, but it's not like his cupboard was bare. Women like tall men of influence. He basically spent about 7 years at a single guy hanging around exclusively college kids, becoming the most popular college influencer in America & building real power. The guy was friends with many powerful, rich, connected people. He was the ideal man for legions of women. He should have had girls THROWING themselves at him. He should have had his pick of women. We should have heard stories about who Charlie Kirk was dating. Gossip. Rumors. Etc. He was a certified, bona-fide 20s-something American hero celebrity. But that's not how it all went down. Instead, we heard there were no girlfriends. That he was a virgin until Erika (good for him if true, btw). No sexual encounters, whatsoever—which, if the rumors about many others in TPUSA are to be believed—is extremely anomalous! He was allegedly surrounded by all kinds of people who were sexually active—gay and straight alike! TPUSA is filled with college coeds for its ambassadors. Smart girls, hot girls, motivated girls, calculating girls, politically connected girls, etc. Girls with multiple combinations of those traits. Yet Charlie spurned every single one? Couldn't land even one single girlfriend? Didn't have one fling? Never once got his groove on? Never once succumbed to the horde of women beating down his door? And then, when he did get married at 27, it was to a 32-year old woman. No offense, ladies, but I was once in my 20s. And men in their mid 20s see women in their 30s as ancient. Old as the hills. Washed up. Why marry a 32-year old when you can snag a 22-year old? That's like a 10-year warranty! This is how the vast majority of men in their 20s think. And Charlie had no shortage of access to women in their early 20s. It's weird. And on top of that, the woman he married hadn't been able to maintain a relationship herself into her 30s. That alone is a major red flag for men. Not to mention the many alleged lies she's told. IMO, she lies a lot. About everything. Surely Charlie would have picked up on that. It's really unattractive. People say Charlie had no game. But the "Bob's Burgers" story where he straight up told her he wanted to date her, not hire her, was a total Chad move. I'm sorry, but something about the Charlie Kirk story just isn't adding up for me. I honestly don't know what, but the math ain't mathing. Am I the only one?
