The bottom line is that even if what you say is true, if it can "incite hatred," then you have committed a crime. Warning for the USA - we do remember the Disinformation Governance Board that Biden tried to put in place, don't we? Clearly, there are people in the USA who want the same laws. From the Judge's opinion: "Even if all of the statements made by Van Langenhove are based on scientific evidence and statistics, it makes no difference to the criminal intent. Van Langenhove is not charged with spreading false information. He is charged with presenting facts in a way that incites hatred against persons on the grounds of one or more of the protected criteria in the Anti-Racism Law."
Dries Van Langenhove@DVanLangenhove

A very sad announcement. I have just been convicted a second time for 'hate speech' and it is only due to a technicality that I could not immediately be sent to jail —to the judge's frustration. In an ironic turn of events it's actually thanks to my previous prison sentence (for memes in a private group chat) that I am now still free —in a physical sense, at least. Call me naive but I didn't think they would take it this far, given that this precedent criminalises many of the arguments used by even the most moderate politicians critical of mass migration. In February 2024 I gave a lecture at Catholic University Leuven wherein I linked mass migration to crime and a deterioration of our quality of life. Every single point I made was 100% the truth and based on scientific evidence. Cynically, even the judge that convicted me admits as much by writing in his verdict: “Even if all of the statements made by Van Langenhove are based on scientific evidence and statistics, it makes no difference to the criminal intent. Van Langenhove is not charged with spreading false information. He is charged with presenting facts in a way that incites hatred against persons on the grounds of one or more of the protected criteria in the Anti-Racism Law.” That's a lot of words just to say he wants to send me to prison for speaking the truth. Even the regime media write: "It did not matter to the court that Van Langenhove was quoting scientific sources. The judge argued that Van Langenhove's main message was that a big part of the societal problems like insecurity, housing shortages and lowering educational standards are due to mass migration." You may think the regime media are being sympathetic to me in the first sentence, but in reality they are warning people: even if you speak the truth, if you go against our narrative, we will crush you in every way possible. Both the public prosecutor and the judge did not present a single real argument as to how or against whom I would have incited hatred. So even if I would accept their crazy, dystopic law, I still did not break it. The only argument they present is that I created a "hostile atmosphere of us versus them” in regards to migrants. But even this silly argument (which is not even a punishable offence) is not true. To me, the deadly disease is self-hatred and one of its worst symptoms is replacement migration. My enemy is thus NOT the migrants themselves but those orchestrating the mass migration. Sadly, in Belgium, evidence is not needed and ‘vibes’ are enough to put someone in jail. Given the fact that I have another court case coming up in September and that I have a dozen active criminal investigations for hate speech, time is running out for me. I have already paid more than €420,000 in legal fees and there is no ending in sight. I have been in an intense battle of attrition for eight years and must now regroup to make sure I can still win. If you want to help me, you can do so via the links below. If you can help in other ways, please contact me via DM. If you live in a country that still has free speech, never let them touch it, however noble they make the motives sound, because this is where it leads to.

@SenRandPaul Good question. Here's a better one - why have you not called for the removal of Thune as Senate Majority Leader? You know good and well he is the holdup, and he's the reason for these ridiculous pro forma sessions to prevent recess appointments.

It makes me sick that the Republican party is completely controlled by one man. Raju: If Paxton wins the nomination, could you vote for him in the general election? Texas Voter: Hell no.

"Ken Paxton will be an albatross." Senator @JohnCornyn sounds the alarm on a potential Ken Paxton nomination, warning a messy primary could puncture party prospects down ballot in the Lone Star State. "If he is the nominee, it'll take hundreds of millions of dollars to try to save him, and it's likely not to be successful because the mainstream media loves Talarico. It's like the second coming of Beto O'Rourke. And you remember what that was like." "And so I can help the ticket. I can help down ballot. I know the president cares a lot about the congressional races that are right below the Senate race, and I won by ten points in 2020. So I think I can be the most help to the president and his agenda in the last two years of his term of office and all the down ballot races."

Did you see @KenPaxtonTX doesn’t want you to vote in the runoff? 75% of registered voters did not vote in either the Democratic or the Republican primary. Another difference between us: I want as many Texans as possible to vote. Why would you delegate your right vote to a small fraction of registered voters that may not reflect your values? Vote!

@grey4626 This is a real concern. @elonmusk @nikitabier Your automated moderation is a nightmare, and despite what you have said otherwise, people who are willing to do the research and write long form articles get buried in favor of short pithy comments and videos.

Listen closely, because I am not whispering this into the void. I am done. Bone-deep, marrow-scorched, soul-fucking done with the slow-motion slaughter unfolding on X. What was once billed as the last free-speech redoubt has metastasized into something far more sinister: a gleaming digital abattoir where the good, the serious, the heterodox minds who still dare to think in full sentences are systematically bled out for sport. The butchers? A coalition of liberal mass-report mobs armed with nothing but ideological venom and the platform’s own soulless AI enforcer…a pattern-matching automaton so devoid of nuance it might as well be lobotomized by committee. Add in weaponized DMCA lawfare, an algorithmic contempt for anything longer than a rage-bait tweet, and a festering antisemitic sewer that somehow never triggers the same automated wrath, and you have the perfect execution chamber for anyone who refuses to play the dopamine-chasing game. I watched it happen to me. And too many others. Months of work… essays, threads, research, audience…vaporized in 2.5 seconds because the mob found the right keywords and the machine lacked the courage, the intellect, or the integrity to ask why. This is not moderation. This is psychological warfare dressed in silicon. The ancient human circuitry for ostracism and status annihilation, supercharged by frictionless report buttons and trained on activist datasets, now runs the show. Conservatives, classical liberals, truth-tellers… anyone who refuses the script…get disappeared while bots, trolls, and medieval Jew-haters flood the replies with blood libels that somehow slip the noose. Meanwhile the rage-bait merchants and click-farming grifters chase impressions like junkies chasing the next hit, lying, baiting, manufacturing synthetic outrage because that is what the algorithm rewards. I wrote the piece you are about to read in a white-hot fury that has not cooled. It is not a polite complaint. It is a forensic autopsy of a platform that betrayed its founding promise with lethal precision. And it is my public declaration of exile. Because I have found my people on Substack. Not perfect…nothing is…but here depth is not punished as inefficiency, long-form thought is not throttled as spam, and serious conversation can still breathe without the constant shadow of the blade. X can keep its gladiatorial arena and its baying mob. I am building elsewhere. Read what follows if you still believe ideas matter more than impressions. If you are sickened by the same daily executions. If you, too, are done watching good people get erased while the platform that once promised liberation becomes their eager executioner. The digital guillotine is real. And it is hungry. I'll check in from time to time but you know where to find me. I can no longer stand to be here as I once was. This place has devolved into nothing but bullshit and the people who could do something about it... Refuse. So good fucking riddance. If you want to know what I'm up to you know where to find me. I have had enough of this place and I'm drawing my line in the sand. If I post anything at all it'll be introductions to my work on substack. Nothing more and nothing less. This has become a shitshow and I am checking the fuck out. open.substack.com/pub/lhgrey78/p…

Twice a year, Americans are forced to change their clocks for no good reason. The Sunshine Protection Act would end this outdated practice and make Daylight Saving Time permanent. Glad to support this commonsense legislation alongside @POTUS.

LEGACY: @DNIGabbard declassified highly sensitive records and internal documents from the Obama White House. The records make an even stronger case that the 2016 Russia collusion narrative was not rooted in credible intelligence. Rather, intelligence was manipulated by the outgoing Obama Administration in coordination with IC leadership to fit a preferred political narrative. As of May 2026, DNI Gabbard has declassified well over half a million pages of government records that were previously withheld from the American people.

🚨 BIG WIN: President Trump just scored a MASSIVE 48-1 committee victory on the Sunshine Protection Act, making Daylight Saving Time PERMANENT! No more wasting hundreds of millions twice a year screwing with clocks in towers, cities, and states. Attached to the Highway Bill and heading to the House. Trump is pushing hard to get it signed into law. Longer, brighter evenings for American families. Make America Bright Again!

@ZeekArkham Dance is a great place to learn these things - no participation trophies there. Our daughter’s persistence, attention to detail, and drive were all helped along by her nine years as a competitive dancer. These skills have served her very well in her (non-dance) career.

My daughter has reached the end of her dance competition season. She didn’t place very high. She had first year solo comp nervousness and it showed. I sat her down and told her to watch the videos of herself performing. Look at what the judges said. Work on it and come back better next season. She promised she would and then asked if we could get some All American burgers. I told her no. Burgers are for winners. Kidding, kidding… we’re on our way there now. Proud to be raising a winner who isn’t into participation trophies or mediocrity. She’s going to be okay.
