My next video is going to be a very special one. Over the last year, I've been working with students at Mercer Island High School in Seattle to create a new piece of music for their wind band. And on 3 June, the piece is going to be premiered alongside a new Listening In video.

I'm writing a new choral piece right now. It's a simple one. Very tuneful, almost like a hymn. Unfussy, uncomplicated... all about modest beauty. It's one that you and your friends can sing softly together late at night, perhaps around a campfire, or walking home from the pub.
