@kekzploit @GrapheneOS Motorola Mobility is part of Lenovo, i get that its hard for you to understand because they both start with the same word, but maybe one day you'll get it.

I think you're both missing my point and wasting your time here. You can trust Motorola all you want, and I understand my views may be at odds with your goals, but its not wise to spend your time being the personal defender of Motorola. With ties going back to the 70s, I doubt some corporate structure makes much difference, with 2 entities being seperate since 2011. You can say its my motives that seem suspect, and you're entitled to your opinion, but your partnership with motorola, if im correct, will be way worse than me shouting into the void of my small follower count. Motorola are experts in surveillence technology, and you don't have the resources to look into the silicon.

Motorola Mobility recently announced a long-term partnership with GrapheneOS for future hardened/privacy-focused devices. Motorola Solutions (its defense/enterprise division) has been a long-time supplier and partner to Israel and Israeli Military Intelligence. Motorola Solutions has deep roots in Israel since the 1970s through R&D, manufacturing, and major defense/government contracts, providing surveillance systems, radars and cameras used to help surveil citizens of the West Bank. With increased hardware and firmware supply-chain and corporate/government coercion risks now on the table, is this better or worse for the droves of GrapheneOS users seeking privacy?

@GrapheneOS @kekzploit Why not fund a Kickstarter with a white label phone manufacturer? Doesn't need to be a flagship phone. You could easily get 0.5% of the install base to fund this. 2000 units at @$1000

GrapheneOS
GrapheneOS@GrapheneOS·
GrapheneOS needs a partnership with OEMs to get them to improve their hardware, firmware and drivers to meet our security requirements. We need them to provide us with the firmware and drivers in a usable form for GrapheneOS with the updates we need instead of us depending on getting them from their less frequent OS releases. Otherwise, Pixels will remain the only devices meeting our requirements. Your claims in the post above are objectively false. Motorola Mobility and Motorola Solutions haven't been part of the same company since 2011. We have a non-exclusive partnership with Motorola Mobility (Lenovo) and no form of partnership with Motorola Solutions. It would be a poor attempt at scaring people away from GrapheneOS regardless. Most people want us to support more hardware and will choose what they want from the supported devices. We want to eventually have devices with better hardware security than Pixels rather than the drastically worse security we'd have with any alternatives today.

BSV Browser is a replacement for Chrome on a mobile device. It has an APK release which should work with Graphene OS, yes. Yes you can use it without Chrome. Yes the Wallet is built into the app, it is kept away in the menu popover to allow users to focus on the web apps they want to use. The wallet is working away in the background making payments, signing data as needed and confirming transactions on chain for you.

@deggen I'm trying to understand this Browser. Can I use it without Chrome, and have the Wallet on there? Or how exactly? And can I use it on smartphone with GrapheneOS (without chrome, or how)?

Traditional Bitcoin nodes have a mempool — a waiting room for unconfirmed transactions. Teranode doesn't. Transactions are immediately processed into subtrees. No waiting room. No backlog. Just continuous flow. #Teranode #BSV

@phanpp11 Going forward, miners will only hold utxo indefinitely, not that actual data attached to each tx. Who do you expect to pay for that?

ChainDisk — on BsvBsv.com It started as the blockchain version of a thumb drive. Upload your files and folders to the blockchain, then pull them down on any device. No physical unit to carry, lose, or wear out — the chain is the drive. Now it's built into the BsvBsv.com platform, and the whole idea comes into focus. The central column lays out your wallet data plainly — your spaces and channels, your posts and videos, your images, and what you've sent to chain. It keeps track of all of it. What you can do: See your spaces and channels at a glance — Move your wallet to another device Upload files, keep them on blockchain, and catalog them in your File Cabinet Preview files right in the Cabinet — images, video, audio, text — then download Pull anything back down, anywhere A personal space on the blockchain. Your spaces, your channels, your files — your keys. → BsvBsv.com @BSVAssociation @kurtwuckertjr @BSVSearch @SirToshiTV @PhotoKuro_ @SmilaZParadis @Kate_L_Mosso @GavinMehl @JohnWayne_SV @EquityDiamonds @BSVCasey @bethebroadcast @Lise0508 #BsvBsv #Bitcoin #CreatorEconomy #Web3 #DataOwnership #BSVTube

@SaturnJS @callebtc actually, the whole point of Lightning is that it doesn't need the properties of a blockchain to work; it inherits them with the opening/closing/rebalancing of channels, and extrapolates it with routing

@callebtc @Daniel__Street You also forgot to mention that at 3 tps you can't really use LN. Once you open a channel you have to stay on LN forever if it was to operate at scale.
