Lives of the Indian public would be much improved if more American necons were to stop cheerleading the war that’s hurting Indians more than anything else, or if they were willing to analyse Israeli actions rather than nitpick on the “discourse” of every other country in S Asia.
Sadanand Dhume@dhume

Indian public discourse would be much improved if more BJP supporters were willing to raise legitimate questions about electoral processes and fair play, and more TMC supporters were willing to analyze their party’s political and policy failures.

@dhume Foreign journalists will be taken more seriously, if their analysis was more factual and data driven, rather than gossip or speculation driven.

@kushal_mehra BJP should also focus on two things. The poisoning of youth by drugs and the poisoning of soil by urea. Bjp should provide positive agenda on how it will reverse this. Make both Punjabi youth and soil healthy again.

If the BJP forms an alliance with the SAD as equal partners, they will win immediately, IMO. But the BJP is going to go alone, so I say another decade. They will win Punjab. Punjab is also dharmic. Sikhi is also dharam. It is not Islamism. The gurus are part of our psyche, not outsiders.
zuzu@enigmazuzu278

@kushal_mehra Any chance of bjp winning punjab ?? Literally living for that time ? Punjab seems to have a lot of dislike for bjp.

@AnupamSet15 @NCMIndiaa @gupta_rekha They ate not forcing to join schoo but are forcing those who already joined to buy books, uniforms from their favourite shops. They are behaving like mafia & cartels who, with joiners as hostages. This should not be allowed.

@NCMIndiaa @gupta_rekha I don't understand, no private schools are forcing the citizens to get their wards enrolled in their schools. Moreover for every single private school, there are 5-6 govt schools available everywhere. So instead of rectifying the govt schools, why they're attacking private ones?

I can walk into any private school in Delhi for an inspection, anytime. Every school will state it clearly on its notice board, on its website, and at any store it operates that parents are free to buy uniforms, books and stationery from anywhere. There will be no coercion, no captive buying, no single-vendor diktat. Ensure this without exception. Any violation, any manipulation, will invite the toughest action available under the law. A takeover is not beyond consideration. My inspections are not a gimmick. They are enforcement in action. They are driven by the voices of parents who have written to me, telling me where I must go next. Keep sending your suggestions. Fixing Delhi is our responsibility. My Delhi. My responsibility. #ViksitDelhi

@RajivMessage There is a know-how and know-why. Core ToT is know-why. 80% is only in know-how. So GE tells how to make it, HAL makes it, but doesn't know why it is doing it. Until unless, they apply their mind & try to reverse-engineer it. More difficult than starting afresh.

@AbhishBanerj Modi's inability to clean up babudom. At centre and in his party's ruling states. He has been as ineffective, if not worse, as other previous govt's, so nothing surprising.

The Sword from Mohenjo Daro: About 4,500 Years Old It is 37 cm long and features a sturdy midrib. The Rigveda mentions asi swords, which are similarly small. Recent tests of copper/bronze weaponry from the OCP/CHC horizon have also pushed back the date of metal weapon production in India to approximately 4,500 years ago.

The answer : “Composite Hull” CVRDE's Composites Research Center took on an ambitious challenge as part of the VIKRAM VT-21 project on Development of Advanced Armoured Platform (Tracked & Wheeled) and delivered something truly remarkable: a fully indigenous composite hull. At the heart of this effort was a critical question. How well could monolithic composite plates and sandwich panels of varying configurations hold up under intense shock loading? To find out, the team carefully fabricated panels using Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) and Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP), incorporating PVC foam, Aluminium Honeycomb, and Aluminium foam cores. Every panel was produced through the Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Moulding (VARTM) process and then put through demanding shock load testing to validate its performance. What made this achievement even more impressive was the frugal brilliance behind it. The entire VARTM setup was built in-house within R&D(E) at a cost of just ₹3.1 Lakhs, and the composite panels were fabricated for ₹19.7 Lakhs. In the world of advanced defence technology, that was exceptional value for money. And the outcome reflected every bit of that hard work. The VIKRAM VT-21, complete with its turret, weighed in at under 25 Tonnes, proving that thoughtful engineering and smart material choices could redefine what an armoured platform was capable of. Because in defence, every kilogram saved was a tactical advantage gained.

His body had wasted away piece by piece. His ribs had begun to show. He no longer had the strength even to move. When the British saw that this 25-year-old young man would not break, they tried to force-feed him by thrusting a tube through his nose. The tube entered his lungs instead of his food pipe. Milk filled his lungs. He writhed in agony, vomited blood, but still refused to end his hunger strike. On 13 September 1929, inside Lahore Jail, a revolutionary gave his life. For 63 days yes, 63 days he had not eaten a single grain of food. History often remembers the hanging of Bhagat Singh, but forgets the comrade who died in Bhagat Singh’s arms. That revolutionary was Jatindra Nath Das known across India as Jatin Da. He was an expert in making bombs, but in the end, his greatest weapon became his own body. He could have apologized. He could have accepted food. He could have saved his life. But he had only one demand: “Stop treating Indian political prisoners like animals.” The British believed hunger would crush his spirit. They did not realize that this was not a body made of flesh alone it was forged in iron. As his condition worsened, the British crossed every limit of cruelty. Prison doctors and guards pinned him down. They forced a tube into his nose. He screamed in pain, but his resolve never trembled. When news of his martyrdom reached the public, the nation wept. It is said that as his body was carried from Lahore to Calcutta, thousands stood at every railway station with flowers in their hands. In Calcutta, more than 600,000 people joined his funeral procession. Subhas Chandra Bose himself helped carry his body on his shoulders. But today, how many still remember that 63-day sacrifice? Before his death, Jatin Da reportedly said: “I am no saint. I am simply an ordinary man who wishes to die for the dignity of his country.” People may debate how India won freedom. But one truth cannot be denied: The foundations of that freedom were laid upon the withered bones of young men like Jatin Da. India’s freedom was not charity. Someone paid for it with his youth, his pain, and 63 days of unimaginable suffering. Every Indian should know the price of the air they breathe today.

All of us were wrong about Aatmanirbhar Bharat. It was always co developed (read screwdriverd) with France, US, UK, Israel, Germany, Banana Republic, Federation of Dholakpur.
Defence Production India@DefProdnIndia

“Aatmanirbhar Bharat is not merely a procurement programme; it is an invitation to co-create, co-develop, and co-innovate,” Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh told German Parliamentarians in #Berlin on April 21, 2026, as he made a strong pitch for enhanced collaborations between the defence industrial ecosystems of India & Germany. Addressing the German Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence and Security on Day-1 of his three-day visit to the European nation, Raksha Mantri asserted that the world today is faced with new security threats, and the technological transformation has made the situation highly complex and intricately connected. A new approach with the willingness to adapt to the changing environment is the need of the hour, he said. Details: ➡️ pib.gov.in/PressReleasePa… 🇮🇳🇩🇪 #IndiaGermany #RakshaMantri #DefenceCooperation
