It's deeply heartbreaking. Being denied the chance to say goodbye to a loved one especially a spouse is a kind of pain that goes beyond words. It speaks to a situation where legal decisions feel disconnected from basic human compassion. Where did humanity go?🤷💔.

Let's apportion blame where it's due. Unlike the wives of other opposition leaders openly participating and making statements, I have not heard this soul raise a word. Besides, let's not all lose ourselves into stooping too low to celebrate what is anti African. In Africa, it is our discipline that at the time of death, we all reflect on our lives to remember using the late as an example to review our actions not to think that that is for them and what is for us is different. I condole with her family and Pray that her souls rest in eternal Peace.

The Generosity of Her Voice She is one of the most recognized and outspoken women in our country. Many know her public voice. Fewer know her as a grandmother. I chose to celebrate Miria in this #GoGrandma series for a reason, because when we speak of generosity, we often think of money, time, or care. We do not always think of voice. And yet, Miria has given hers again and again. Those who know her closely know her deep love for her family. She will drop everything to be present for her grandchildren, immediate and extended. She is generous with her time and her resources, especially for women and children in distress. But it is her voice that I keep coming back to. She says it herself that her most potent weapon and gift is her mouth. And she uses it. To speak on justice. On faith. On integrity. On fairness. She speaks in ways that are clear, unwavering, and often costly. In a context where civic and political space can be constrained, to speak as she does is not without risk. Grandmothers like her do not just raise families. They hold the line for society. They speak when silence would be safer. They challenge when retreat would be easier. And in doing so, they protect something far bigger than themselves. We do not always name this as generosity. But it is. It is a giving of self. A laying down, again and again, in service of truth and dignity, even when the cost is high. Dear Grandma Miria, thank you. For speaking. For standing. For refusing to be silenced. Last week, we attended the CSW70 Community outreach organized by @CentreforWomen2 in Katanga slum. we engaged with local women in open discussions on sexual and reproductive justice & menstruation challenges. Key concerns raised on reproductive health and period poverty will strengthen our advocacy evidence and guide future programming. #SRHR4All

Comrade Musiri David(M.D) with all honesty did not follow the rules of the party and later joined the stagnant DF -aparty that was founded on a very shaky foundation by far howevermuch I won't discuss this in particular . I would wish to personally request and suggest to you to come back home and I can be sure the party and revolution through the known clear process, u will be welcomed back home and we push together . Some for obvious reasons may rebuke this move but it's timely and vital for all of us involved and majorly many of us who worked with you very closely and know your worth to embrace your Obote 2 phase I request and call upon all other fellow well meaning comrades to embrace the comeback of a comrade whom we surely know is well meaning regardless of the flaws afterall we do even receive those who are in devastating bodies like the intolerant yellow banditry.
