This got me thinking. Does Australia have enough training facilities at a decent level to cater for 64 nations? You would assume AFL and NRL clubs wouldn’t assist.

@SaveSaints @firstfusilier @AlboMP His own mother never owned her own home, stayed in the same housing commission house. I was a widow at 33, suffer from a rare arthritis, worked to jobs as a single mother and was able to put a deposit for my own home. Was his mum just lazy?

He didn't lift a finger or use his influence to prevent the hostile takeover, and afterwards he consistently expressed support for the Glazers. @ShaunMaybe76 @bostonwriter 100%. I remember getting autographs from players as a young kid and consciously thinking at 13 "I'm probably getting a bit too old for this now." Insane seeing 40 year old dudes asking somone for an autograph. Have some dignity.

I don’t see a thing wrong with this and he certainly didn’t lose it. He reads as someone who has been playing this game for decades and knows how things can spiral. He’s establishing boundaries, the crowd listened, and he obliged. Zero drama.

@davidyelland What kind of weird delusion is this. I'm a Man City rags-to-riches story appreciator, but to suppose the PL would be a "shadow of itself" without the UAE buying and pumping money into one club is absurd.

He never gets a positive word and yet without him the Premier League would be a shadow of itself and its global value hugely diminished. It is one thing to have money, it is quite another to spend it wisely.
