In Zimbabwe, people criticize: 'Why is the President always traveling with business people?' But Trump just took a delegation of top business leaders (including Musk, Apple's Tim Cook, and BlackRock's Larry Fink) to Beijing. The lesson? Leaders travel with business figures to seal deals and attract investment — not because something is wrong. So when President Mnangagwa is seen traveling with Sir Wicknell Chivhayo, @wicknellchivayo Dr. Tagwirei, or Scott Sakupwanya, @HonSakupwanyaK it's the same logic."
To signal economic opportunity and close deals Trump used his business delegation to show China that America means business. Mnangagwa uses his business travel companions to show investors that Zimbabwe is open for business .

5 DAYS TO GO
Our country was taken from us through conquest. The people that were conquered by superior weapons were chiefs and their armies of the people. It’s only right that when Independence came, those political rights should have been restored. That’s what #CAB3 is doing 🇿🇼

Charamba, we are not naïve. This is an unequivocal suggestion to the President to disregard the counsel of those around him. It is long overdue for you to have departed from your post, as your unwavering disservice to your superior has been all too evident.
Despite his awareness of your character, he made the choice to retain you; yet, you have continued to exhibit an astonishing level of disrespect to him and your mandate.
Your actions this time have clearly crossed a line. Who exactly are you attempting to serve?
Remember that one cannot effectively serve the demands of two masters without failing both. It is better that you step down in good time and make way for the younger generation to rise and take over.
While it is the prerogative of the President to dismiss anyone, it is still incumbent upon us to name and shame those who are selling out.
We know many of them and soon we shall be be stating names as they are. There is a whole cartel that is leaking inside information for nefarious political agendas.

Today, I had the honour of standing in as the Acting Minister of Sports, Recreation, Arts and Culture at Rufaro Stadium where I witnessed an exciting football encounter involving CAPS United And Dynamos FC
The vibrant atmosphere and unity displayed by supporters once again highlighted the important role sport plays in bringing communities together, empowering young people and promoting national pride. Government remains committed to supporting the growth and development of sport in Zimbabwe in line with Vision 2030.

Zimbabweans are calling for a new landmark in the capital!!! Bulawayo has its iconic Father Zimbabwe statue where people take memorable photos. Harare CBD should also have a grand statue of His Excellency President E.D. Mnangagwa a fitting tribute to his leadership and a proud symbol of Vision 2030. This would give citizens and visitors alike a new place to capture memorable moments

A handful of opposition activists -barely 15 people -are now trying to hijack the football space to push their tired anti–Black millionaires narrative.
Billionaire Cde @wicknellchivayo and Hon. Scott Sakupwanya have made major, tangible contributions to the football community. Their impact deserves recognition, not cheap shots from the sidelines.
We cannot allow a tiny, noisy minority -yes, fewer than 15 individuals -to dominate headlines or distort the national conversation.

This is a huge disgrace from @capsunitedfczw fans. The owner of Caps United is a ZANU-PF member and an honorable Member of Parliament. Seeing such a song directed at fellow members, a football club owner, and one of the biggest football sponsors is unbecoming. Madzibaba Chivhayo @wicknellchivayo has a long history of sponsoring football in Zimbabwe, including even the national team. Who still remembers Pasuwa receiving a Toyota Hilux from Madzibaba? Honorable Scott Sakupwanya has changed the face of football in Zimbabwe, which has now attracted so much attention from multinational companies to invest in our local football. His company, Betterbrands, is sponsoring other football teams across the country.
I hope the President of Caps United, Cde Farai Jere, and Caps United management will issue a statement against unwarranted attacks on his colleagues from his team's supporters.

WATCH | During a match at Rufaro Stadium today between Caps United FC and Dynamos FC, supporters of Caps United FC were recorded singing a chant with lyrics referring to two individuals they described as “thieves”, naming Wicknell Chivayo and Scott Sakupwanya. The fans could be clearly heard singing in Shona: “Mbavha mbiri chete dzatakavenga, Chivhayo naScott…” 🎥Soccer24
