Re-allowing gulper shark fishing in the #Maldives is an ecological mistake. Gulper sharks grow slowly, mature late, and reproduce rarely, making them extremely vulnerable. Even “managed” fisheries could wipe out populations and undo years of conservation progress. #KeepTheBan
