1/ Angus Robertson’s performance yesterday in parliament was absurd. His entire defence for never attending a HES board meeting is that there was no need to, because his civil servants were keeping him fully apprised of what was going on. Well plainly they weren’t.

Jenny Gilruth claims many teachers are unwilling to move for work. Yet across Highland, Moray, Shetland, the Scottish Borders, Orkney, Argyll & Bute, Angus, and Aberdeen councils, there is just currently just ONE permanent primary teaching job advertised. Just one.

Yesterday, @JennyGilruth said in parliament that supply was a choice for many teachers in Scotland. Today, we asked 787 supply teachers if this was true. 97% of them told us that they rather not be on supply.

I gave this TED talk warning Silicon Valley of the profound threat of it posed to democracy nearly 6 years ago. It provoked a lawsuit that caused me years of pain. The UK government did nothing to contain the threat. And here we are.
