I had several of those books. Received as prizes for being the topper in each of the subjects and also the class topper when I was in junior school ☺️ You brought back such lovely memories. I vividly remember the cover of one of the books - it had a beautiful and exotic bird in a cage on the cover. I had so many of these books but for some odd reason I just remember that one cover even after so many years (decades!).

A question When i was younger, Amma used to buy me 'Russian books' from book fairs and exhibitions. These were Russian folktales in English The OH hasn't heard of them Anyone here remember those books? Baba Yaga the witch, a quest of some sort...

Delhi Hon. LG in the Metro once again. Whether he was at Arun Jaitley Stadium or just traveling through the city, the way he sits and listens to fellow passengers is so down-to-earth. It’s not a photo op, he’s actually out there with the people. After meeting him twice and interacting with him, I can say he has a plan to improve the Capital of India 🇮🇳
