Running on compromised legs? Train 2 hold form whn trashed
Weight on compromised legs? Functional strength retention
Anaerobic fatigue? Spikes lactate hard
No COD (fair)/Hand Eye(wallballs don’t count)

It destroys athleticism because its tons of junk volume, mechanical movements mixed in with low intensity, drawn out cardio.
To me athleticism = strong, fast, agile and powerful. To do that you need to be either:
- lifting heavy weight (and moving it quickly, specifically concentrically) for low reps
- sprinting
- jumping
- changing direction
- training hand eye coordination
Hyrox definitely does not help with any of those things.
Real sports and training like an athlete does.

The average rugby player covers 3–4 miles per match, with heavy contact, collisions, and short bursts.
Explain to me HYROX destroys your athleticism when it arguably makes you the most well rounded athlete?
