the intelligence report Peter Obi got to leave ADC when he left should be one reason yall should want him to be president. you want a president who knows how to make tactical decisions. what PO did was CIA-FBI- kinda shit!
Chibuike R. Amaechi@ChibuikeAmaechi

I REJECT THE CONCOCTED RESULTS OF THE ADC PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES Following reports of widespread voter disenfranchisement in most parts of the country during the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Presidential Primaries yesterday, I unequivocally reject the concocted results being announced. I had initially stated that I will only accept the outcome of the Primaries if the process was free, fair, and transparent, and I stand by my word. I will not accept results from a process that does not reflect the values that the ADC had pledged to uphold, to rescue Nigerians from the impunity and gross mismanagement that our country is currently facing in the hands of the ruling party. There’s no way that about eighty percent of members of the party were not allowed to vote, and you expect me to accept such results. Then what makes us different from the others? The whole idea of the ADC was to give the Nigerian people a platform, to amplify the voices of the downtrodden, and make Nigeria a better place for everyone irrespective of backgrounds, ethnicity, or religion. A party that criticizes the ruling APC and INEC for vote buying, rigging and writing of results, cannot be engaged in vote buying, writing of results, and other electoral malpractices that leads to the disenfranchisement of voters who are party members. This is not acceptable! - Rt Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi

Celebrating Eid-el-Kabir with Faith, Sacrifice and Hope I warmly felicitate with the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and across the world as they celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, a sacred occasion that embodies the timeless virtues of faith, sacrifice, obedience to God, compassion, and love for humanity. Let us focus our prayers on unity and hope at this year’s Sallah. As we reflect on the profound lessons of this solemn celebration, we are reminded of the need for selflessness, tolerance, and commitment to the common good. These values are especially important at this critical period of our national journey. Nigeria is a nation of immense potential, currently weighed down by avoidable challenges, but the spirit of Eid-el-Kabir teaches us that after sacrifice comes fulfilment. We must never lose hope in the possibility of a functional, just, and productive nation where no citizen is left behind. Let us use this sacred period to pray for our security forces on the frontlines, for wisdom for our leaders, and for meaningful economic relief for the masses who continue to bear the burden of our collective difficulties. Let us also recommit ourselves to peace, mutual respect, and unity across faiths and regions. May this Eid-el-Kabir bring joy to our families, peace to our communities, and renewed hope to our dear nation. I wish all our Muslim brothers and sisters a blessed and joyful Eid-el-Kabir celebration. -PO

THEY DID IT TO MKO. THEY DID IT TO JONATHAN. NOW IT’S TINUBU’S TURN. by George Udom Let’s stop pretending. What you’re seeing isn’t normal politics. It’s a war. 1993 FLASHBACK: Sultan of Sokoto warned IBB: “Don’t let a Yoruba man become President.” IBB told Prof. Omoruyi: “Yoruba act like Nigeria can’t move without them. Igbo should teach them a lesson.” Result? June 12 was annulled. Why? Ethnic fear, not competence. 2023 PLAYBOOK: Same fear. Same desperation. Different target: Tinubu. Why they want him out: He’s not Obasanjo. He wasn’t handpicked by the North. He fought his way up. Subsidy removal cut their illegal cash pipeline. Oil bunkering, illegal mining, FX rackets, tax evasion — Tinubu is blocking it all. He doesn’t take orders from any cabal. So what are they doing? COALITION. Media attacks. Paid protests. Misinformation. Religious + ethnic blackmail. Same script they used on Jonathan when Yar’Adua died. Make the country ungovernable. Truth: This isn’t about Tinubu’s perfection. It’s about control. Old Nigeria vs New Nigeria. Puppets vs Independent leaders. Looter’s paradise vs Real reform. If they remove Tinubu, they kill the idea that a Southern leader who isn’t a puppet can survive. If they win, we go back to 1960. Same cabal. Same looting. Same backwardness. No leader is perfect. But for the first time, the man in Aso Rock isn’t waiting for permission from anyone. That’s why they’re panicking. Pain of reform is temporary. Return of the cabal is permanent. Choose one! #StandWithTinubu #NewNigeria #SayNoToCabal #June12Again

Nigeria has not over borrowed compared to countries like Egypt, South Africa and West African country of Senegal. Nigeria is credit worthy and can still take more loans to finance infrastructure. The unwarranted alarm against loans is symptomatic of economic and financial ignorance.
Akinwumi@Big_marvis

Egypt’s total debt is estimated at over $400 billion, with a GDP around $390 billion — debt-to-GDP above 100%. South Africa’s debt is about $580 billion, with GDP around $420 billion — roughly 135% debt-to-GDP. Nigeria’s total public debt is about $110 billion, with a GDP around $340 billion — roughly 35% debt-to-GDP. Yet some people keep shouting that Nigeria is the “loan capital of the world.” To them: Loans are Haram. Education is Haram. Road construction is Haram. Power projects are Haram. Internet expansion is Haram. Railway modernization is Haram. Airport upgrades are Haram. Seaport reforms are Haram. Dams and agro-processing projects are Haram. Solar energy expansion is Haram. But the same people praise countries that borrowed far more aggressively to build infrastructure and grow their economies. The difference between productive borrowing and reckless borrowing is simple: what the money is used for. If loans are used to build roads, expand electricity, improve transport, increase internet access, modernize ports, support agriculture, and attract investment, those are long-term national assets. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu says the focus is on infrastructure that can improve productivity and economic growth across Nigeria. Criticism is normal in democracy, but opposing every single project simply because of politics helps nobody. Development is not the enemy. Underdevelopment is. Some people are no longer in any coven. They are simply online 24/7 wailing against everything.

What could a Madrid fan possibly know about a quality midfielder lol? The same Gavi rocked up to a title winning Clasico on the back of two major injuries, up against a midfield you’ve wasted over €200m, and made it look like a walk in the park.

Suspected bandits have reportedly invaded the Yashikira community in Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara State early this morning, setting the Emir’s palace ablaze and abducting several residents, including women and children. It was gathered that the attack occurred late at night when the heavily armed assailants stormed the community, firing sporadically. channelstv.com/2026/05/25/man…
