This Labour government has unlocked £100 billion of additional public sector investment spending over this Parliament and is focused like none before on driving down infrastructure costs. Long-term infrastructure planning is coming too. Go go go!

Charts like this are why I am optimistic on UK growth prospects. We haven't *yet* tried to fix many of our fundamental economic weaknesses.

It would be really great if a journalist could go in hard on District Heat networks not being subject to the energy cap, regulated by OFGEM or even by the energy ombudsman. Coz, lads, this is insane.

That's insane. That's a straight £565 before you've even used anything! These district #HeatNetworks desperately need to be regulated.

Time and time again, we are utterly appalled by the cruelty of @lb_southwark. They don’t even pretend to care about the lives and livelihoods of the residents who pay their salaries. The case for negotiation is becoming increasingly weak, while active lawsuits grow stronger.

Mdest proposal: All Luigi fans and stans should band together and create or purchase their own health insurance provider. If the problem is really United Healthcare, they can save countless lives. If the 2% profit UH makes is really so obscene, surely all Americans will be thrilled to switch to a new more-efficient provider that doesn't deny any claims! I haven't figured out how that will work given that the the ACA/Obamacare specifically prohibits charging enough to make such a thing possible, but that is just a minor detail. It isn't like the supply side could be the problem, and certainly not government regulation and crony credentialism. No, surely a new CEO can solve our health insurance woes and make a better product that everyone prefers by acting as a conduit for the brilliant ideas of murderous social media commenters.
