2024 Election Status Update: As of 10:52 PM CT on November 5, Kamala Harris has reached 205 electoral votes (47.6% of the popular vote, 56,294,607 votes), while Donald Trump leads with 230 electoral votes (51.0% of the popular vote, 60,386,209 votes). Trump maintains a strong showing across the South, Midwest, and Mountain West, while Harris holds key states on the West Coast and the Northeast. Path to 270: With several key states uncalled, including Wisconsin (10 electoral votes) and Pennsylvania (19 electoral votes), Harris would need to capture most of the remaining light blue and gray states to reach 270. Without either Wisconsin or Pennsylvania, her path becomes very narrow, as she would need to sweep almost all other available battlegrounds to close the gap.
