Over the years, I’ve often told the story of the poker site that was the last thing you did before Toms. I remember meeting you…interviewing you…I remember you guys bringing a marching band into the World Series of poker. Watching the staff scramble on that one was one of my funniest moments ever in the 20 WSOPs I was at. 😂 Glad you found peace. Continued success!

I started TOMS at 29. Sold it at 43. Fell into the deepest depression of my life at 44. And I'm 49 now. Here are the lessons I wish I'd learned:

The first season in the Ken Holland experience was an abject failure everyone but team shills saw coming. One of the least enjoyable seasons I can remember as a fan. Good riddance to the 2025-26 #LAKings season. #GoKingsGo

Worst sports day for me in a long, long time. No hockey or football for five months. Kopitar done. I believe they will move Doughty in the off-season - so this is it for the guys that won the cups. #GoKingsGo

Given the state of the world, it feels selfish to try to make any particular day about myself, but it’s never really stopped me before, so I’m afraid I’ve got some bittersweet news to deliver: EPT Monte Carlo 2026 will be my last event with PokerStars.

A friend wants to buy fully customized poker chips for his clients. As high end as possible, does anyone have good recommendations.

Glad the Kings made a coaching change, not expecting big changes system-wise or in the style of play, but hopefully it wakes the team up. The organization is still in need of a major overhaul, and it starts at the top with Luc Robitaille. #GoKingsGo

@MarcelAndRogie Cannot heart this enough. I usually stay out of this stuff, but the surest way to lose over time as a team exec in any sport is for your number 1 goal to be keeping your own job.

I'm sure Luc Robitaille is in deep negotiations with Pat Conacher, or Corey Millen, or some other dude he used to bro down with back in his playing days. Luc is the problem. The entire atmosphere of this organization needs to change. #GoKingsGo

Zach is a wonderful writer and ambassador and (as you know) none of the media criticism has ever or would ever be directed at him. Criticism has always been of the team president and a dysfunctional media ecosystem.
