This weekend i spent some time freshening up on my UI skillset while exploring potential $ORE implementations. The Questions: * Can we use the ORE contract to enable trustless, on-chain betting? * What is the most straightforward on-chain implementation that would also allow non-crypto participation? The Result: 1. Users pick their odds to play 2. Users enter an amount to bet 3. Wait for the round to end & claim winnings The nice thing about ore is you can essentially provide this for free by instead just claiming a portion of the refined ore as a fee rather than direct on the SOL bets. I have built out an initial MVP of how this works (links below) called RockBet - attempting to abstract any on-chain logic away from the user & provide a standard betting interface.

Real. I'm so, so bearish on people trying to play characters. I often consult people in MegaMafia on their social presence and 99% of my advice is to make CT work for you. Find the conversations you enjoy, and contribute. It's literally that simple. Approach it selfishly and it will energize you because you're having the convos you want, about the things that stimulate your brain, and you're gaining friends (and nemesis) along the way. Literally just be you. It's the most sustainable way to grow on X and subsequently in this industry.

You can see whatever you want in this post, but the truth is it's how these decision were always going to play out (and is bullish Ronin). They will be the best version of themselves with these decisions. → Cheaper, faster and familiar to their user. → Repurposing their security budget for growth You just have to realize that Ethereum is playing a volume game with this stuff (and that blobs are ngmi).

Most interesting notes from this migration: → Will not use $ETH as gas → Will be altDA (EigenDA cited in blog) → Security budget for being an L1 being repurposed for builder incentives, which also uses a "Builder Score" that combines on and offchain metr → Courting the L2 "stacks" for packages (OP, Arbitrum, Polygon, ZKSync, etc) → Positioning from "Gaming" chain to General Purpose Makes total sense for Ronin, but is minimally value-accretive to $ETH and Ethereum. No $ETH will be used as money outside of the Ronin Treasury subsidizing the settlement costs.

I don’t think Hyperliquid ever needs to geo distribute its validators. The multisig needs to be addressed, and with the Circle inclusion it’s looking more likely than not that that will be resolved soon. But the colocated validators are literally part of what makes hyperliquid hyperliquid. Liveness is certainly at risk, but as a user, I’d prefer a 5x better UX 99.9% of the time and accept the occasional downtime that might occur as a tradeoff. I’m sure market makers would prefer this as well. You can add more colo’d permissionless validators overtime but to ask HL to become a fully distributed blockchain is to ask it to change what made it so successful in the first place. It’s just a different product.

BTC maxis are opening a can of worms by incessantly talking about ETH supply under PoS in a world where they no longer control the narrative and TradFi is already buying into ETH massively with recent flows outpacing those into BTC because it invites a lot of very uncomfortable questions about BTC's longterm security policy i don't think they realize how big of a mistake this is yet
