@JoeTipton @TransferPortal Good for him for moving up but it’s sad, as a Summit League fan, to see what the conference is becoming due to the transfer portal.

Really like what Virginia has, coach and roster. Feels like if everyone returns (Hall has a year left, right?), and they secure a "get a bucket" guy in the portal, they can be a Final 4 team Shot creation an issue late vs Tenn

Why on earth was Florida pressing up 2 with 10 seconds left? Absolutely baffling. 2 doesn’t kill you, how do you put yourself in a position to give up a 3?

@jasonrmcintyre Houston has easiest path to final four this year. Easy favorites over Illinois and Iowa. Huge coaching advantage and basically home court. Only worry is it seems TOO easy.

Houston futures basically at home in that bracket with Florida out are fascinating I had Illinois in most of my brackets, that offense can go on the road and get a win ...

@tennbrian1 @SethDavisHoops He won the national championship last year I appreciate his new perspective. It makes a lot of sense. Straight up defense.. drive and dish .. open three or free bucket at the rim .. they ain’t risking a foul

@SethDavisHoops He didn't coach well the final possession. Fouling up 2 would be another bad decision. He should have just paid regular defense and let Iowa have to beat them straight up. He got cute, his team got beat on the press defense, and Iowa hit the 3 for the win.

Golden said after the game he wanted to foul one of Iowa's role players and see if he could make two FTs under pressure. That would have given the Gators one more possession or at least gotten to OT. We all know about the foul-up-three but have you ever heard of foul up two?

@gator_bret @SethDavisHoops Nah, get the ball back tied or have the lead yet Worse case you go to overtime or they rebound the 2nd missed free throw and put it in

@SethDavisHoops Welcome to the “analytics” of basketball. I assure you, some nerd calculated the probabilities of winning by forcing pressure free throws and having final possession -versus- just playing basketball. And the former has a statistical edge. Still….I hate it. Absolutely hate it.

Iowa State fans stop reading this tweet. ... .... ....... .. .... North Carolina should throw a Brinks truck full of cash at TJ Otzelberger.

To repeat opinion from earlier in season: Straight out coaching the game, Iowa State’s T.J. Otzelberger is the best in college hoops.
