Shepparton-Mooroopna has a population of 68,000. By comparison in NZ, Hamilton has 180,000 and is 138km by rail from Auckland but has just 2 trains on weekdays; Palmy has 90,000 and is 136km from Wellington with merely ONE weekday train. Victoria shows better things are possible

Shepparton is about 200 kilometres from Melbourne, and receives 5 weekday and 3 weekend return services to Southern Cross. From later this year it will receive 9 return services on weekdays Just another example of Victoria's excellent regional rail network, all for just $9.20

Sean Plunket, who was permanently suspended from Twitter today, just asked Prime Minister Hipkins at a post-cabinet press conference to define a woman.
Despite not being prepared for the question, PM Hipkins made it clear that Aotearoa will not tolerate Posie Parker's views 🏳️⚧️✊
