The Nairobi bypass felt like it was designed mainly for the wealthy we paid over 20,000 UGX just to use it. It made me wonder how ordinary citizens who rely on it frequently manage such costs.
In many of these countries, salaries may seem higher on paper, but the cost of living quickly eats into earnings. By the end of the month, you often realize there’s little or nothing left to save.
Back home in Uganda, it’s different. Even though incomes may be lower, people have strong survival instincts and financial discipline. Somehow, they find ways to cut costs and save more, making life feel more sustainable in the long run.

SGR will be extended to Malaba via Kisumu since that has always been the plan. We are also dualling Mazeras to Mariakani highway so is Mombasa to Mtwapa onwards to Kilifi. As Kenyans we will foot the bill.

My collective sentiments on the SGR.
It is so easy to read into government sponsored narratives because they originate from certain bloggers.
To the brigade that thrives on posturing tribal bigotry and portraying Kikuyu’s in a certain manner in a desperate bid to segregate them.
Let me leave this here for your reference and consumption.
