been spending a lot more time inside sports betting products lately, not for the dopamine, but to understand what the experience should actually feel like. the more I use them, the more obvious it gets. sports betting is still missing so much. we're going live with v2 soon, a top tier product that genuinely could not be replicated even if you tried every single day for the next year. from there, it's about discovery. when the product is that solid, distribution becomes the only thing left. and I still have a long list of ideas going into scorely after this. polymarket/kalshi/stake/roobet/shuffle/etc will have a lot fewer consumers because of scorely. yes, it sounds insane right now, but come back to this in 6 months. and we already have a token tied to it, from day 1. polymarket is sitting at a $9-15b valuation off ICE’s investment and hasn’t even done a TGE yet, meaning by the time retail can actually buy in, most of the upside is already priced in and they’re left holding the downside. we don’t want that for our people / early believers.

Quiet days are usually when the most important work is happening. I know the market has been stale, and I know a lot of people are waiting for the next major Scorely update, so I want to give some broader context on how we are thinking about $SCORE long term. Realistically, if you are only looking at $SCORE as a World Cup trade, you are missing the bigger picture. World Cup narratives will bring attention, but most projects built around a temporary event will have nothing left once the hype fades. We do not want that. Scorely is not being built around one event. The World Cup is a catalyst, not the end goal. For $SCORE to become a serious exchange-listed asset and push into a higher market cap range, the foundation has to be right first. The product needs to be solid. Since launch, Scorely has already passed 1,000+ email-verified users. With that growth, the responsibility has increased massively. We are no longer building for a small test group. We are dealing with real users, real balances, real volume, and real risk. That means we have to take every layer more seriously. No rushed infrastructure, no security gaps, no downtime, and no weak points. Especially with recent competitors in the space losing millions to exploits, it would be irresponsible to push momentum before the platform is ready. We have already seen people try to stress-test the platform in every way possible, from DDoS attempts and payment flow abuse to multiple-tab withdrawal exploits, bonus abuse, VIP system manipulation, and other edge cases that only show up when real $$$ is involved. The priority is making sure that when Scorely scales, it is built to handle it properly. Distribution also needs to go beyond X. CT is important, but the real growth comes from reaching sports bettors, traders, and casual users across TikTok, Instagram, Reels, creators, clips, and broader sports content. Most importantly, Scorely needs real users creating real volume. The long-term model is based on onboarding players, generating platform activity, and using that volume to strengthen the $SCORE ecosystem through buybacks and deeper utility. We do not know whether relaunch is 1 week, 2 weeks, or longer. The priority is making sure that when Scorely is back live, it is built to stay live forever. Our next update will include hundreds of community suggestions implemented directly into the product. Since our token launch on May 8, we have received an incredible amount of feedback from token holders, users, and the wider community, and we genuinely love that. Every suggestion has helped shape Scorely into something much stronger. After this update goes live, it will not make sense to trade sports anywhere outside of Scorely. 😄 Long term, I do not think we have highlighted this enough: we want to take B2B very seriously. Scorely is much bigger than a sportsbook. We are building toward a full infrastructure layer, including a Scorely API that other projects can build on top of. Right now, Scorely costs close to $20k/month to operate across data feeds, servers, hosting, and infrastructure. That is expensive, but it also gives us a strong foundation. With the B2B model, we can make expansion much more scalable while allowing other projects to access fast odds, sports data, and betting infrastructure through Scorely. This is where the long-term upside becomes much bigger than just one consumer-facing product. During stale days like these, we are also more active in our Discord server. Today, Arnaldi bettors felt something no bettor should ever feel. Arnaldi was up 7-5, 5-2. The market had already moved heavily, with closing odds around -1000, implying roughly a 91% chance of winning. Then his opponent retired. In tennis, retirements are not some impossible edge case. ATP retirements happen in roughly 2% of matches, and men’s Grand Slam matches have historically been even higher. That means the rules around settlement matter. On most platforms, that bet gets voided. On Scorely, bettors get paid out at closing odds. This is the difference between a platform that treats settlement as fine print and a platform that treats it as part of the product. Fairer rules. Cleaner outcomes. Better protection for users.
