Absolutely nonsense. It is not at all black and white. Some fighters will dramatically befit from being in a UBO. It won’t be right for some others. And the more established promoters say they will continue to operate in the traditional manner with the sanctions bodies. Further it will make it illegal in the U.S. for there to be interim titles except in specific scenarios, which is good. In the end the public will decide which version of the set up of #boxing they like. To say it’s the end of the world or that it is great is absurd. Like anything there will be degrees of both.
