Here’s my review of stunning Ardfin, on Jura. There’s a hole-by-hole guide with plenty of pictures and some insights into the overall package.
It’s probably the longest course review I’ve written but there was a lot to talk about with this one!

I played Ardfin today and it’s one of the most spectacular settings of any course I’ve played. Maybe only Cape Wickham gives it a run for its money. But it’s not just about the views - the course itself is just fantastic. Review to follow, but am thinking it will rank v high!

The best thing about the developments on King Island is that the original King Island 9 holer is finally getting the credit it deserves! Proper description of a “hidden gem”.

On King Island, Australia, before Cape Wickham in 2015 and Ocean Dunes in 2016, there was King Island Golf & Bowling Club. Built in 1932 by locals and maintained by volunteers, this rugged oceanside links has 12 greens and 17 tees that combine to form a hellaciously fun 18 holes.

@ukgolfguy I feel your pain. Still dealing with cancellations from my April trip. It’s just golf in the grand scheme of things, but still sucks. At least you can leave the country..

I’ve emailed these to say our trip is likely to be off 💔- it was quite the line-up! 2 of the 4 in our group are coming from🇨🇭and the quarantine changes have caught us out. 🇩🇰 or 🇮🇹 are 2 of the only places with low Covid and no quarantine either way so researching courses hard!
