The Summer of Love, 2020 - Nationwide rioting, looting, arson, and destruction. - "Mostly peaceful protests" - CHAZ/CHOP autonomous zone, which ended after multiple shootings took place, resulting in the deaths of two teenagers - Politicians and leaders taking the knee for St. Fentanyl Floyd - Many killed during the 'mostly peaceful protests' - One being African American retired St. Louis police Captain David Dorn, who was shot and killed in cold blood - Another being Secoriea Turner, an 8-year-old girl, shot and killed next to a BLM protest site - Major companies pledging billions towards BLM - Property damage in the billions - NYPD officers ambushed and shot - Millions in BLM donations funnelled into mansions, family/friend contracts, and salaries, and generally wasted - A mass push for DEI hiring And so much more. Happy anniversary!

A major sticking point is the Strait of Hormuz: Iran wants it under its management, while the U.S. insists on full freedom of navigation. There’s also no agreement on financial relief. Qatar has stepped in with a proposal to provide Iran a $12B humanitarian loan. Notably, Lebanon is now part of the broader framework under discussion.
