I didn't say she had bombs in her bag because I don't know if she did or didn't. It's a war. Obviously both sides are going to prop up whatever narrative they like from this.
Otherwise I'd look as bad as the dork who assumed she was shot by an Israeli.
To automatically assume innocence on her part is to automatically assume guilt on the shooter's part. I won't assume either way since it's not immediately relevant to me or my country. We have a thousand other things for me to care about before I care about this.
@ScottGraham1316@martyrmade My point here is to point out how ludicrous it is to contrive scenarios for why someone carrying a baby deserved to be shot with a sniper rifle.
Well she may have had bombs in her bag... Come on that is stupid. If she did have bombs in the bag then say so. But to suggest wow...
I'm laughing at all the 3rd-worlders in my replies. Your reply was more reasoned so it was a breath of fresh air. Genuinely.
Yeah, those soldiers in your article should be publicly punished and we should sanction Israel until they do. Like I said, I don't think they will come out of this pure. But that doesn't mean we automatically trust what every foreign Muslim account says.
For instance, I was actually right to question the initial video. It happened and was documented in 2020 (someone sent this to me). She was not Gazan and the shooter was not Israeli. But everyone in my replies just assumes it's an Israeli atrocity bc they want to believe it.
If people keep amplifying trash like this, no one will trust them when they actually do uncover atrocities. It's genuinely sad, but I don't trust anything Darryl says about current events any more because of stuff like this. Still love his podcasts but it feels like his move to Montana is forcing him into an echo chamber.

Sure. I don't think Israel will come out of this clean. There's a good chance they did commit atrocities. But if people keep amplifying lies like this, no one will believe them when they actually do uncover atrocities.
Don't implicitly trust Ben Shapiro. Also don't implicitly trust random foreign accounts. It's a nice rule of thumb. :)
I've been hooked on Darryl's history podcasts since like 2021. But because of stuff like this I don't really trust anything he says about current events because he's too emotionally invested. Honestly makes me kind of sad but I guess we're all human.
@ScottGraham1316@martyrmade Well thank you for the correction it’s just so hard to keep things straight because they do so much indiscriminate killing of innocents
You said she's leaving the grocery store. Nothing in the video indicates that. You're assuming it.
I didn't assume anything about her. I only said we don't have the context to make a moral judgement. I didn't say she wasn't innocent. I only said in my initial post that we don't know.
Now I believe she was innocent and I hope the gang member that shot her faces justice.
@ScottGraham1316@martyrmade Are you seriously trying to accuse me of making assumptions while you make the wildest assumptions from justifying this shooting to predicting the frame of mind of a complete stranger on the internet.
Looks like I was justified in asking whether this was even related to the Israel-Gaza war. It's not. The video came from 2020. Check the timestamp on the article.
You have to understand that post 10/7, everyone is posting propoganda. Everything is a lie until proven true.
(I don't believe Israel will come out of this morally clean btw. But truth still matters. We can't accuse them of crimes they didn't commit).
observers.france24.com/en/20200617-fo…
@ScottGraham1316@martyrmade There are lots of video like this unfortunately. Young, obviously unarmed kids getting cut down, emt’s ambushed, on and on. It’s hard to accept but it’s true.
@MrGoodKat420@martyrmade Speaking of being propogandized - the shooter wasn't even Israeli. But you believe every anti-Israel propaganda piece so you think it was Israeli. This video is from 2020.
Looks like I was correct to ask the question. This was not an Israeli shooting.
observers.france24.com/en/20200617-fo…
@AdamGrey__@martyrmade How do you know she was leaving the grocery store. That's not in the video.
I bet you think Israel did this too. They didn't. This happened in 2020 in a gang war. Check the article dates.

While our country is at war, our airports are a mess, DHS is not funded, and our elections are not secure, Lindsey Graham is wandering around Disney World with a bubble wand. This is an image that should live in infamy.
America is the richest, most powerful, and most generous country in the world. We are so superior to everyone else, and so charitable and kind and helpful, that unfortunately many of the lesser countries on the globe have become welfare queens who expect us to coddle, care for, fund, fight for and protect them. We are the parents who have taken good care of our children, but have not forced them to contribute enough, or earn their own keep, and now they are spoiled, ungrateful, and helpless. It’s time to cut the umbilical cord and force the rest of the countries to stand on their own two feet. We can’t do everything for everyone.
The Palm Sunday massacre of Christians last night in Nigeria should be front page news everywhere this morning — but it isn’t.
Why? Because the media DOES NOT CARE about the plight of African Christians.
I am here today in Nigeria to share the truth.
@endless_tra@ScottGraham1316@martyrmade Video from June 2020: Wouroud Kanju (28 years old), a Palestinian mother, was hit by a stray bullet while carrying her baby in the Shatila camp, Beirut (Lebanon). She died in crossfire between drug traffickers, not from an Israeli attack.
@ScottGraham1316@Shagarchist@martyrmade This doesn’t work anymore, as you fucking cucks of the tiny hats are currently waging war across the globe.
You don’t get to bomb foreign countries and depose leaders, then tell other countries we don’t get to talk about it.
A lot of people are pointing out how it's weird for a childless old man to go to Disney World, and of course they're right. But the greater point here is that the SAVE Act is not passed, the problem at our airports is not fixed, our country is currently at war, meanwhile the Senate just went on vacation. They should all be forced to work every day, all day, until these crises have been handled. It's outrageous that these assholes are lounging at Disney World and leaving American citizens to deal with the problems they refuse to fix.
