This is a gamble they have to take, but one that will come down to Thompson’s offensive development. You don’t spend $250 million on an elite defender that lives in the dunker’s spot.

I can see why someone would argue Ben > Terry. I won't flat out disagree. But MVPs >>> stats I think the other 3 are untouchable. -Greene and Franco for obvious reasons - Troy was the best player on those 3 superbowl teams too.

@BCassSF23 @BobbyMarks42 The Murray contract extension, 2 years before expiration, is what’s killing them. Can’t guard a cone, almost 30 years old. That, along with Booths crazy draft decisions, haunts them more than CBs contract.

This is going to be an interesting offseason in Denver. And this doesn’t include Peyton Watson, Spencer Jones and Tim Hardaway Jr. (who they likely can’t afford)
