Can’t wait till we are 4-8 in November and complaining about a pass rush again for the 7th year in a row but 1010 and the rest of jags media telling us don’t worry about those draft picks. They were great and we need to trust the staff. They obviously know what they’re doing

In the end the Jaguars - Made 10 picks (started with 11) - Made 2 trades, both moving up on Day 3 - Do not select a single RB, OT, or CB - Double dip at EDGE, TE, WR Lots of team captains, walk on backstories, successful transfers, etc.

Gladstone said in the press conference that before the draft, they did a mock for every slot of the Jags picks and went 10/10… well yea I’m sure you did, every single pick outside of Pregnon was a huge reach lol

The whole idea that there is a consensus board being used to judge picks is stupid. Who is making up the consensus? That’s the problem with draft evaluations. Don’t be part of the herd.

Complacency is the gateway to failure. Zero improvement to an overachieving team that benefited from a lot of luck last season.

Their jobs are always on the line with these decisions. What are they supposed to base their decisions on other than how they feel about a player?

The way in line tight ends were drafted last night can serve to inform a clear trend in the league for you or you can ignore it. Fine. Pregnon has a chance to start. They got a big body on the def interior that they like. They were more concerned with safety than me. Cool.

@dvandenbord @PriscoCBS @jpshadrick This team overachieved greatly in 2025. Many of the top stars of 2025 were Baalke guys. Corn was able to get a lot out of a little but that only lasts so long. Zero improvements have been made this offseason. I’ll be happy to compare next year this time on the top 100.

@ScottPowell07 @PriscoCBS @jpshadrick Well I’ll start with a front office & coaching staff that took a bottom-5 team to a 13-4 record, and they have a pretty solid pedigree. The only way to “prove” your theory is to compare & contrast the consensus 100 -vs- the actual top 100, and how their careers progressed.

@dvandenbord @PriscoCBS @jpshadrick It’s a very good gauge of it. GMs and scouts are wrong all the time in drafting too early or pushing a player down the board. However, yesterday wasn’t just reaching by 30-40 spots. It was reach by over 100 spots and ended with taking an Undrafted Free Agent guy at 100.

@CarlBrandon_ @1010xlfattony It really is a big deal. This team has done zero to improve the roster after losing multiple starters. Now, they draft a TE at 56 to replace Johnny Mundt, take a DT with short arms, small stature and zero pass rush upside, pick a safety that was widely viewed as an UDFA.

@ScottPowell07 @1010xlfattony This analysis is an opinion. Multiple evaluators had Regis as a top 10 DT and Huskey was their preference in a group of similarly rated DB’s. Not really a big deal.
