I truly get the frustration with the recruiting efforts, the PR, and last season.
I truly believe that everyone understands that Mark Pope has to succeed next year, but most fans are completely writing next season off, and that’s extremely premature.

This is my take for the most part. Stokes has seemed to favor Kansas forever…and he loved Self

Losing to Bill Self on the guy Self wanted most is not really a knock on Mark Pope. Putting your entire Class of 2026 recruiting focus on trying to get the guy Self wanted and everyone told you he would probably get … is a mind-boggling mistake.
