I always hear camera people talking about how important it is to get a Sony, but I can't get round how dog shit the playstation 4/5 are built. As if I'm gonna wank £15k on Sony gear when they (purposely) can't get a control pad right

@THEDONTTELLSHO1 I'm with you. Die Another Day for example was a nonsense film, but at least it had fun. Apart from Casino Royale, the Craig era just felt too serious and tonally, just messy and wrong. No Time to Die started fun for half hour... but then shit the bed. Total mess.

Villeneuve is absolutely the wrong person to direct a Bond film. They'll be even more dour than the last lot. Bond should be fun. Stop getting Bond wrong.

I never wanna see a film shot on an iPhone in the cinema again. That's some janky, weird camera. Fine for some shots I guess but absolutely destroys some otherwise very fine shot selections.

@Sharon_Alison @shaunamacd0nald So who's paying the crew of tomorrow too? And the directors? Cos otherwise you're looking at 10-20k per student film. Fine if you can afford that, but as it is we lack diversity in our pool of directors, it's already prohibitively expensive. Great those places pay actors though.

@ScoutIndie @shaunamacd0nald NFTS & RCS both pay actors for work in student films. It’s possible. institutions that don’t send the message to their graduates that it’s ok to ask actors to work unpaid. It’s not. It’s exclusionary. Actors have student loans to go to drama school too, remember!
