@ScrabbleJudge

I adjudicate SCRABBLE Brand Crossword Game words I see mentioned on Twitter. Unacceptable words get * (JU*) Words acceptable outside N. America only get # (JA#)

@HeinzKetchup_US Actual Pro Tip: HEINZ* is worth 0 points when it gets challenged off the board. Outside of North America, HIZEN# is worth 17 at least, but really you should be aiming for some premium squares to up that score!

@DaveDowley1 Yes it can - you have too many tiles on your rack. Once you sort that out, either exchange or play EUOI#

@shivhearne @SCRABBLE_EA When you start a new game, choose as your language either English (Collins) - with the British flag, or English TWL - with the American flag. Either of these are tournament-level word lists where you can play SHIT and all sorts of other naughty words.

@Skyferishot @iain_harley No need to SNIPE at each other. It's okay if one PINES for a flashier play, but don't take PEINS and hit each other with them.

EM is certainly acceptable, as are EN, ESS, AR, EL, WYE, and others (though not all that @presentcorrect list here - no KEW* or DJEE*).

Starting in February, EW, OK, and ZEN will all be playable in tournaments in North America. You can use them now if you're playing at home!
