@ScrabbleJudge
I adjudicate SCRABBLE Brand Crossword Game words I see mentioned on Twitter. Unacceptable words get * (JU*) Words acceptable outside N. America only get # (JA#)

Blitz is a word in the NFL but my mates won't give me it in scrabble, a bit shady from them if you ask me 😄🤔 #bbcnfl

today in scrabble with my 16yo got 2x triple word scores + used all 7 letters #raiments - i think this is 149 points?

English

@HeinzKetchup_US Actual Pro Tip: HEINZ* is worth 0 points when it gets challenged off the board.
Outside of North America, HIZEN# is worth 17 at least, but really you should be aiming for some premium squares to up that score!

@echinaceaderm You're looking for Word Freak by @stefanfatsis. And it's a great book!
English

@DaveDowley1 Yes it can - you have too many tiles on your rack. Once you sort that out, either exchange or play EUOI#
English

@Jerryturner262 @Righteous_Babes Play BRR! or if there's nowhere for it, find an open R for BRRR.
English

I’m playing scrabble with my mom and @ColbyBrock look that the letters I just so happen to have hahaha

English

@shivhearne @SCRABBLE_EA When you start a new game, choose as your language either English (Collins) - with the British flag, or English TWL - with the American flag. Either of these are tournament-level word lists where you can play SHIT and all sorts of other naughty words.
English

@Skyferishot @iain_harley No need to SNIPE at each other. It's okay if one PINES for a flashier play, but don't take PEINS and hit each other with them.
English

@azulbuho @presentcorrect I don't think anyone would want to play a game with you when you make these accusations.
English

EM is certainly acceptable, as are EN, ESS, AR, EL, WYE, and others (though not all that @presentcorrect list here - no KEW* or DJEE*).
English

This is perfect for an -ING addition for a nice easy 48 points.

Whoa. Mom comes out swinging in the opening round of Scrabble.
English

@ChrisSu95422095 @JesseThorn @hodgman Actually, top-level Scrabble players have a wide variety of backgrounds, from Doctorates to high-school dropouts.
English

Presuming you're outside North America (which, judging by your SCRABBLE set and twitter profile, you are) - JEDI is an acceptable play! (also look for a free C, R, or S for JUICED, JURIED, or JUDIES)
