@CurveFinance So what you're saying is that you're arms dealers in the trade wars?

Thanks to trade wars, 24h hour volume on Curve is around 1.6B, the highest APR and utilization being for pools with staked Ethers. So what if the world will have trade wars? Ethereum is the battleground for trade wars!

My kid has pretty much turned bilingual This is a big problem because the other language is Welsh No one at nursery understands her when she says “mwy o laeth diolch” instead of “more milk” Howls “dwr” instead of water And she counts in Japanese We’ve cooked this kid so bad

@ReetikaTrades I think it's a classic Tragedy of the Commons. There's no downside to spamming and it's cheap to set up an AI reply bot these days. If nobody does anything, this app is going to become unusable.

What is with the influx of AI reply bots? Getting replies/quote tweets from new bots everyday(with pump fun CA attached of course) and it’s always the most basic/dumbest thing I read all day Pls stop

@redphone That's a good question, and one I've been pondering myself. What about a mixed commodity futures basket? Sure, some of them can be incredibly volatile, but a mixed basket should allow you to balance out the volatility.

We're in the ultimate goldilocks zone... Supportive regs legitimize crypto and create massive demand for stablecoins, which helps the US keep borrowing costs down (why? bc stablecoin issuers turn around and buy treasuries, which no one else wants). This helps the ponzu go further and harder than people imagine. What I can't really wrap my head around is what happens when the music ends? We dream of "selling the top" but what do you sell into as we stare into the jaws of the singularity and USD hyperinflation? Do you buy the dollar? Bitcoin? Stocks? Land? I don't have a clue yet, but I know every fiber in my being will urge me not to buy it. That will be my clue...

@ReetikaTrades Something about this tweet resonated with me. I suspect the Golden Bull really did just kick off and you're going to look back on this tweet as absolutely nailing the timing. (Yes, yes, I know it's done well since the election, but that never felt like the _real_ bull market.)

14/ TL;DR: ETH isn't just new money. It's compute-based consensus that enables Globalization 2.0. The future of money isn't stablecoins. It's the commodity of compute on a permissionless, global network 🌐 A network that enables unfathomable economic expansion.

6/ Why compute? Because global organization needs a foundation. The UN and international trade agreements showed us: cooperation + consensus = economic expansion. But the costs are massive 🌐

Not defending these actions by the fraudulent crypto firms of course, but it does highlight how these AML KYC and debanking obsessions are fundamentally incompatible with protecting consumers.

@DefiShaka @Zhechang1 @HubertX13 That makes sense. Me, I'm staking for a few months at minimum to see what happens if the new administration creates a better regulatory environment for DeFi. I understand the temptation to sell now, but IMO it's going to get much more interesting soon.

@Zhechang1 @HubertX13 @ScribblingSteve Who knows, but as long as there is strong incentive for people to sell (prices going up dramatically), there is less motivation to stake in a liquid wrapper. Maybe if prices hold steady for a few weeks or months...? 🤷‍♂️

@HubertX13 @ScribblingSteve @DefiShaka I think also there is a lot of CRV and CVX volume on centralised exchanges which allows for people to sell into demand. There’s a lot of people selling wrappers onto DEXs but not the same level of demand.

@DefiShaka I see. I suppose that's fair if they wanted to rotate, but now strikes me as a _terrible_ time to sell DeFi tokens. Then again, I'm a terrible trader, so maybe it's the perfect time.

An important message from Simon & Schuster. All the Big 5 publishers are being impersonated this way-- #WriterBeware gets multiple reports of these copycats every single day.
Simon & Schuster@simonschuster

Hello, readers and authors! We've learned of copycat accounts pretending to be Simon & Schuster employees to trick our followers into applying for fake freelance jobs, entering into bogus acquisition agreements and/or sharing personal information. Simon & Schuster does not offer jobs or publishing agreements through social media or personal email accounts. Our official social media accounts have a blue checkmark (gold on X, formerly Twitter) and our official company email addresses use the following domains: - bit.ly/3BWonKL (in the USA) - bit.ly/3BU7oIZ (in Australia) - bit.ly/4eSElnL (in Canada) - bit.ly/4eQ2IlZ (in India) - bit.ly/48i1QUC (in the UK) These social media accounts and email addresses are the only ones we communicate through. We strongly recommend that you DO NOT reply to or click on anything these copycat accounts send, but DO report them to the platform where they contacted you. @tbonier Do you suppose they're running out of people to register? They were registering at twice the rate of White and Black voters earlier this year. #amp_tf=From%20%251%24s&aoh=17255787418358&csi=0&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&share=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nbcnews.com%2Fnews%2Fasian-america%2Fvoter-registration-asian-americans-election-2024-rcna169370" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">www-nbcnews-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.nbcnew… What do the cumulative registration totals look like, if you happen to have those numbers handy?

In battleground states it was a mixed bag. In MI AAPI registration was 13% and 12% behind in WI, relative to 2020, while in NC it increased by 22% and 21% in PA.

One cautionary note for the Harris campaign in the new registration data we've been analyzing (over the week of July 21 relative to the same week in 2020): AAPI voters. Asian Americans were a key component of Biden's win, with massive increases in turnout relative to '16.
