The #AmazonRiver plume stretches thousands of kilometers across the tropical Atlantic Ocean. @SeaHawk_HawkEye imaged the first few hundred kilometers of that plume on June 19, 2023.

#Publication Brewin et al (2023) analyzed coincident Secchi depth, Forel-Ule colour, chlorophyll-a, and other variables on 4 Atlantic Meridional Transect cruises in view of obtaining the longest optical time series of the oceans.
