@DannyDrinksWine I actually don’t remember the plot at all, because I was totally mesmerised by Amanda Donohoe…damn she is fine in that film.

Ken Russell on "The Lair of the White Worm" (1988) & the wonderful performance of Amanda Donohoe: "Russell: ‘I had already written a script for Dracula and never made it, but 'The Lair of the White Worm' was one of my favourite stories. I thought he [Bram Stoker] was a bit bonkers’. Interviewer: Actually Bram Stoker was insane by the time he wrote Lair of the White Worm wasn’t he? Russell: Yes… none the worse for that! Amanda Donohoe is wonderful. There was nothing you asked her to do that she took exception to." (Ken Russell's interview with James Payne, Garageland, Issue 6)

@TradersConf Stacey Burke sells a course, but also gives everything away for free on his YouTube channel. Pretty sure he’s the real deal… I’ve learnt a great deal from him.

If a trader is profitable then why would they sell a course? I’ve listened to too many trader who have turned out to be fake and I wasted my time with them. Is there any real trader who teaches or are all the ones who teach frauds?

Commentary Donald J. Trump Posts From Truth Social
Donald J. Trump Truth Social Post 11:19 AM EST 01.17.26 We have subsidized Denmark, and all of the Countries of the European Union, and others, for many years by not charging them Tariffs, or any other forms of remuneration. Now, after Centuries, it is time for Denmark to give back — World Peace is at stake! China and Russia want Greenland, and there is not a thing that Denmark can do about it. They currently have two dogsleds as protection, one added recently. Only the United States of America, under PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP, can play in this game, and very successfully, at that! Nobody will touch this sacred piece of Land, especially since the National Security of the United States, and the World at large, is at stake. On top of everything else, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, and Finland have journeyed to Greenland, for purposes unknown. This is a very dangerous situation for the Safety, Security, and Survival of our Planet. These Countries, who are playing this very dangerous game, have put a level of risk in play that is not tenable or sustainable. Therefore, it is imperative that, in order to protect Global Peace and Security, strong measures be taken so that this potentially perilous situation end quickly, and without question. Starting on February 1st, 2026, all of the above mentioned Countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, and Finland), will be charged a 10% Tariff on any and all goods sent to the United States of America. On June 1st, 2026, the Tariff will be increased to 25%. This Tariff will be due and payable until such time as a Deal is reached for the Complete and Total purchase of Greenland. The United States has been trying to do this transaction for over 150 years. Many Presidents have tried, and for good reason, but Denmark has always refused. Now, because of The Golden Dome, and Modern Day Weapons Systems, both Offensive and Defensive, the need to ACQUIRE is especially important. Hundreds of Billions of Dollars are currently being spent on Security Programs having to do with “The Dome,” including for the possible protection of Canada, and this very brilliant, but highly complex system can only work at its maximum potential and efficiency, because of angles, metes, and bounds, if this Land is included in it. The United States of America is immediately open to negotiation with Denmark and/or any of these Countries that have put so much at risk, despite all that we have done for them, including maximum protection, over so many decades. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

“It is simply stealing money.” There will be “very serious consequences” if European countries decide to seize frozen Russian assets and give them to Ukraine, Russia’s ambassador to the UK Andrei Kelin says.

@Viralfizz They've simply bolted a budget shed to the front of the house. I'd give it 5 years tops, less if it gets a bit breezy.

@BF6Media Actually, the Russians did that in the first days of the war. They stole a Ukrainian tank, drove up to a group of Ukrainian soldiers, and fired from just 2–3 meters away. Crazy.

The 80s... what a time to be a kid back then. The extended version of the Airwolf Intro just oozes nostalgia. The Synthesizer sound, the different angles of the helicopter, the way the tune switches at the 0:51 mark is just so emblematic of that era; gives me nerd chills to this day. No streaming and no Internet back then, which meant you had to wait a whole week (!) for the next episode to air. Imagine that in today's world. The concept of waiting is a long lost art it seems...

The Sun is 400x larger than the Moon + 400x further away (same size). Your brain has 100 trillion synapses. If the cosmological constant was altered by 1 part in 10⁵⁰ (1 with 50 zeros) no atoms could form. DNA copies with an error rate of 1 in a billion. Water expands when it freezes (no other major molecule does that), if ice didn’t float, all ecosystems would die. Electrons and protons have a perfectly balanced charge; If they differed by even 1 in 10³⁷, matter would either explode or collapse instantly. Maxwells equations, Euler’s identity, and the standard model (math that explains the universe) is aesthetic; Symmetrical, elegant, and shockingly minimal (planets orbit in a perfect mathematical ellipsis). Hemoglobin binds oxygen just enough to hold it, and just weakly enough to release it, if either was off by 0.0000007, humans would suffocate instantly. Earths tilt is 23.5 degrees (any different and life on earth would be unsustainable). Still, no one can explain why consciousness exists. The fact that atoms (lifeless particles) somehow generate a subjective “observer perspective” defies all known physics. Matter woke up. The probability of consciousness arising from pure randomness is mathematically undefined (impossible). After reading all of this; You get one conclusion… The universe isn’t random; Its engineered… Acknowledge God today and give thanks.

🚘 EXCLUSIVE 🚘 A new pay-per-mile tax will be unveiled in the Budget for electric cars which will kick in from 2028 It will cost the average eco driver £250 a year and longer-distance travellers much more than that It will be levied at 3p per mile on current Treasury plans. (The equivalent of £12 for an EV drive from London to Edinburgh.) The measure will be framed as one of fairness. Fuel duty - which doesn’t affect electric cars - costs 6p a mile on average It’s also needed to fill a growing black hole in the Treasury numbers from plummeting fuel duty revenues as people switch from petrol to electric The Treasury will likely play down the pay per mile element. It is being dubbed ‘VED+’ and is an annual charge to be paid alongside Vehicle Excise Duty. No journey monitoring by cameras or anything. But each year drivers of EVs and hybrids will need to estimate how many miles they will travel that year and pay a price directly linked to mileage. It is the start of a huge potential change in the taxation of cars, from at the pump to by the mile. It’s been long debated. Now Rachel Reeves will grasp the nettle by announcing a consultation at the Budget. Up to 6 million people will be driving EVs when the new charge starts in 2028. It opens the door in the future to all cars eventually being taxed per mile. And what about enforcement? Could drivers one day be made to prove miles traveled? Lots of policy detail in @Telegraph scoop, read on link below. Will be a big talker. The Treasury declined to comment on Budget speculation. telegraph.co.uk/politics/2025/…

I think its pretty clear given the market sentiment.. Plus the fact the previous cycle dates lined up.. that we're on the cusp of a severe bear market I fully expect #Bitcoin to be back in the $3k to $5k range by end of next year It will be one of the most brutal years on record and anyone holding a single asset will be obliterated By the end of 2028, $BTC will be over $1 million I have shorted with size and will long from the bottom.. I will be the richest person on this planet by 2029 Do not fade me (Subscribe to my X account + Patreon and buy my course 🙏)
