I stopped following Parliamentary proceedings when I saw how AAA was haranguing the Deputy Attorney General. Kafuuzi is one of the most calm people you can meet. She obviously has no regard for professionals at all. I just had no idea how much she was hated across the board.

On this IDAHOBIT, I join human rights defenders and leaders around the world in recognizing the inclusive nature of democracy, separating it from the perceived de facto “Ayes” to clearly acknowledge human reality and protect everyone, including the few.

@kyakundwa I feel so angry, I feel so triggered how they gaslit us about the March to Parliament. How they gaslit the lgbtq community😫

It was so easy to mention LGBTIQ persons and all honorables clapped to “The Ayes have it” allowing corruption to entrench in the legislature.

Where opportunities are tagged to connections while merit meets obstacles, for young people, hope is alive when selfless Ugandans like “Tabz” join the fight against corruption, abuse of office, and incompetence among leaders by making important public information accessible.

In light of this Sunday’s #IDAHOBIT and as part of the 🇺🇳🏳️‍🌈 LGBTI Core Group, #KingdomNL’s Permanent Representative reaffirmed #KingdomNL’s support for the rights of LGBTI people everywhere. No matter who you love or how you identify: your rights are not up for debate.
