Rape is a criminal offense and if proven, the pastor should face an appropriate punishment. A male barber like other persons of all sexes, should not be a victim of non-consensual sex.

@loan_lucky In every bail application, it's procedural to lay out constitutional, statutory and case law, much for the benefit of all in court but Magistrate courts officials are usually not enthusiastic to the advantage of the pleading attorney.

There is more to the arrest and remand of the two ladies for alleged kissing in Arua than meets the eye. This particular government official is boosting in the comment section for his role in the re-arrest after the two were granted police bond. Persecution or prosecution!

“It is alleged that the suspects have been staying together in one room… many girls ladies normally congregate to stay at the suspect’s residence..” more than the criminalization of the (sexual) liberty and choices of a certain group of adults, the subjectivity and arbitrariness that the AHA allows our so called law enforcers should worry everyone. Because what do you mean you’re arresting two girls because they have been sharing a room or their other girls congregate at their houses? Don’t people of the same sex live together all the time? In fact, it’s seen as inappropriate, especially in Uganda and Africa for people of different sexes to be housemates or roommates unless they are a couple. This might become away of settling personal scores.
