@SeanC59 @danielanadj77 It was a UK wide vote. If the people of Wales had voted for the UK to remain in the EU, and the vote was leave. The UK would have left. Its irrelevant. If you just count the leave votes in England and Wales, the UK would have remained. It was the leave vote in remain areas.

Scottish voters should be proud that they voted to remain. They made a better decision than the majority of English and Welsh voters. I wish that more had turned out for the referendum and that more young people had voted too. We'd be looking at a very different picture now.

As long as we are part of the UK, Wales will always get a government tht England choose for us England has engineered this union to make sure it has the defacto veto over everything. It is not a union of equals, and Wales must stand on our own two feet to reach our potential

@SeanC59 @danielanadj77 Utter nonsense from the Guardian, its irrelevant. It was a 1 person 1 vote referendum. There wasn't any bloc voting. Over a million people more, UK wide voted to leave the EU. If you want to lay the blame at anyone, blame those that couldn't care less about the EU to vote.
