I own both a RIDGE and a Secrid wallet. The Secrid is I believe a much better product. Yet for some reason I can’t explain, I tried RIDGE for the first time 3 months ago and never looked back. I just can’t go back to Secrid.

We own all of Ridge. me + 5 guys. At any point, we can cash out and sell for life changing money. there is ALWAYS a market for EBITDA positive, growing brands. not having investors means the deal is clean- no preference, no board member vetos. I keep running ridge because it is fun and I like it. Build a business YOU LIKE to run. Not one you are trapped in. This is the number one reason to not raise money.

@Danhightower I don’t think venture is a strategic fit for any consumer brand. If I needed money, I’d go to a PE fund and raise a growth round. They would love to put a check in with zero going to the ownership group.

Is there a strategic that would be a good acquirer for Ridge or would it be more of a cashout to PE type play. Multiples might be tough in this environment plus tight margins on durables. But that’s okay bc you guys are pivoting to consummables with the wines and the ltv is going crazy
