Nigeria's population is approximately 242.4 million. About 2.1 million Nigerians live abroad. Only 0.15% to 0.2% of Nigerians live in South Africa.. that is less than 50k Nigerians are living in South Africa.

@NigeriaStories Nigeria is a failed state. A country that harbors extremist groups who have the freedom to do anything they want doesn't have a government. These politicians have shipped their families out of the country long time ago. They don't care about Nigerians at all.

When you have a country whose economy is mostly compromised of traders and vendors, there will never be enough room to accommodate them all so they will situate themselves wherever convenient
Joe Parker@JoeParker_12

Why do we sit and watch traders take over of a section of a highway and turn it into a market? Please Okaikwei NORTH Municipal Assembly, @mrhgovgh @highwaysghana @HonLindaAkweley @LardiAwuni @KAgbodza this is a highway and once I don't think any of your offices would sanction this then it is expected that you correct it then. Thank you so much. #civicsensegh #thinkrightactright #ghanaletsdobetter #Lapaz

@Yithi_Sisi @LvovoSA Putting the lawbreakers to book is fine but the problem you're fighting will never stop or even decrease if you don't go after the ones who make and are supposed to enforce the laws in SA.

@LvovoSA Soo according to your logic, the breakers of the laws should not be reprimanded because the makers of the law are allowing breaking it?? The population affected the most by law breakers should fold their arms and watch our country decay because of systems??

@coldsummers91 Because Accra is the worst planned capital city Africa. To create something like this, a lot of homes and businesses will need to go. Government doesn't have the means to compensate all those people.

@asemota The kinds of criminality that happen in Nigeria on a daily basis, in any normal country, authorities would shut the country down and go full force to tackle the problem. But the politicians don't care, some are involved and it happens so often nobody cares anymore. It's scary

I can't help but wonder about the economics of Nigerian terrorism and the aftereffects of all of this violence. This is not sustainable. Nigeria will collapse. The design of the Nigerian state is flawed because the governors of these states are still rewarded with revenue from the center when they do nothing to create peace and promote economic activity locally. The South cannot support the North forever, while the violence spreads further and disrupts lives. The people of the North don't want this, but their leaders are criminals who would rather barricade themselves in mansions and hide in tanks than solve the problems. If Nigeria had a more organized neighbor, it would have been overrun. It is now a takeover target, and there are larger forces that can bankroll it.

See that's a problem. A huge difference between South Africans and Nigerians. They don't know what to do and won't even try. But as for us we will take it to the streets. Change our government if need be. So Chisom learn from us. Be brave remove that government that doesn't want to work for you. We are behind you.

“Go back and fix your country.” This is the worst thing to say to me when you already know my country is broken. You know the people breaking it clearly don’t want me to survive. So go back and fix what exactly?

I love many illegal foreigners in SA. How do I know they are illegal??? They aren't studying. They don't run big businesses. They don't offer scarce skills. They have told me about the poverty they come from. Etc. With that said... my love for most of my people - who ride scooters, serve in restaurants, cut hair, sell food, own spaza shops, fix cars, clean houses, sell hair, fix phones, etc... does not mean I cannot state that immigration must get fixed. I can still call out corrupt politicians who receive bribes from these people. Corrupt home affairs & border control officials. Corrupt police. I love my illegal brothers & sisters, but I know I am not allowed to enter their home nations illegally. I don't support the physical violence against illegal foreigners. I think that energy, that violent energy, should be directed at politicians, home affairs, cops & border control. I also wish more illegal foreigners can help us find solutions to fix their countries, expose their corrupt leaders, help them come into South Africa legally, contribute to the South African economy & help us all live in harmony. As for rapists, murderers, traffickers, drug dealers, hijackers, & other vile criminals... whether legal or illegal foreigners. Whether foreign or South African... I hate their crimes & believe they must receive the worst punishment. And rehabilitation, where possible. The Pen.

Seeing videos of Nigerians being labeled as criminals in different countries even within Africa really triggered me. Most people don’t wanna leave their homes and families to seek opportunities elsewhere, but the system has forced many to do so. We can’t all leave and a lot of this could’ve been avoided

When the Ghanaian President made that unpalatable remark about Ghana being “a small country that doesn’t want to get flooded with Nigerians,” what exactly did y’all expect?! Never mind that there are more Ghanaians living in Nigeria than Nigerians living in Ghana. Last I checked there are hundreds of thousands of de-facto Naturalized Ghanaian, togolese, Beninese, Chadians & Nigeriens that fully claim to be “Nigerians” now and no one is making their lives miserable, no one even cares or notices! Even when Cyril Ramaphosa gave a press conference yesterday to address the xenophobic attacks that have already killed 2 Nigerians, he chose to pander instead of issuing a clear reprimand. That was a tacit endorsement, not leadership. Don’t be shocked when Kenyans start their own version. Their president already made a distasteful joke about Nigerians. We’ll soon find out how much of a “joke” it really was. My advice to Nigerian migrants: Travel anywhere you want to LEGALLY it is your right as a human being but please, let it be to places that are “actually” better than Nigeria. Don’t risk your life and dignity for countries whose two major cities and infrastructure can barely compete with tier-2 Nigerian cities like Owerri, Kaduna or Uyo.

If Africa will ever Unite, it will be spearheaded by Kenya. Not Nigeria, they’re too divided. Definitely not South Africa, they’re low IQ and they hate everybody. And not the Sahel States, they’re too Poor to project power outside their borders It will be Kenya. We just need a serious man in State House.

@Matty_West64 @goonerforever07 @FPLfrasier Your club is beyond corrupt. Owners sign brand deals with, essentially, themselves via UAE companies and companies they've already invested in at figures they just make up themselves. Then to hide it all, they come up with City Group. But we won't even get into that.

@goonerforever07 @FPLfrasier Because buying a shirt is not the same as using a product of a sponsor whose name has been brought to your attention by seeing them linked to City on TV & via associated market presence. Shirts are bought by fans, it isnt just fans of the club who see sponsors & use them.
